Gin couldn't stop smiling.

She hadn't felt this good in so long. She was sore all over, even her throat was hurting from all of the screaming he had managed to pull from her. Cody definitely knew what he was doing. And she was so happy that she had decided to take the plunge and sleep with him.

After everything that had happened with Darrel and now Griff, she had really needed to focus on herself for a while. And what better way todo it then to give in to a really hot, fucking fantastic guy, who was only too happy to fuck her brains out and not want anything more then that.

She knew that she would have to speak with Griff at some point, but a petty part of her was hoping to make him feel even the smallest amount of the pain that she had been feeling lately.

She tried to creep into her apartment as quietly as she could.

But Beth was apparently ready for that. "And just what time do you call this young lady?"

Gin snapped upright from her silly half crouching waddle through the door, gasping in shock. "God, Beth!" she placed a hand on her chest to try and calm her heart. "You scared the crap out of me."

"Oh did I?" she responded, looking so angry that Gin was shocked into silence. "Well, imagine how I feel young lady? I get home and you aren't here, the tv is still on pause and you weren't answering your phone!" She shook her own phone at her to emphasize her point. "I mean what the hell Gin, a note would have been nice." A slight smirk came over her features. "You know, something like 'Gone to fuck neighbor, be back in the morning'?"

Without thinking Gin said, "How did you know?"

"AHA! I KNEW IT! I mean of course I knew, I'm pretty sure everyone in the whole building knows your world was rocked. Now I need the deets, don't leave me hanging."

She smiled at her friend. "I don't kiss and tell." Then she headed to her bedroom to get some much needed sleep.

Unfortunately for her, her friend was in no mood for her coyness. "Now you listen here. I have a right to know just how good that piece of hotness is in bed. Now you either share or I march over there and find out from him. Your choice!"

As Beth had been talking to her back she couldn't see the smile on her face. She was all too happy to let her friend know what it had been like, but she wanted to keep it to herself for a little while longer." Beth, sweetheart, I have had next to no sleep so I really need to get some rest. We'll talk later, okay." She closed her bedroom door on the surprised Beth.

Not a second later she heard her give a loud whoop. "Damn, I knew he was gonna be good." She squealed, sounding far too giddy for a bystander to have the right to, then she heard her giggling as she walked away. "You will tell me all when you get up, Gin! Don't even think about trying to get out of it!"

As she got undressed she thought to herself, 'How did I get here?'

Not too long ago she had thought that Griff was the only guy that she would ever want. But now? Now all she could think about was having sex with Cody. Her feelings were still there, unfortunately she couldn't just shut them off, but now they weren't the focus of her life. She could see past the pain she was in.

It was truly amazing what sex with no expectations could do for a girl.

She had never had a friend with benefits before, but she quite liked it. They didn't just have sex, they talked. And he had helped her to see that she was worth a lot more then second place.
