One month later

Griff was sitting at a table in the clubhouse just staring at the bottle in his hands.

It has been a month since he had seen or even spoken to Gin. He had decided that he had been too quick to blame her for moving on so he had to take a step back. And he wouldn't try and make her talk to him until she felt that she was ready.

He had spent the time talking with not only his therapist but also some of the ol' ladies around the club. And he didn't like what he had learnt. He knew some of his brothers were cheating on their women but he had no idea that they were well aware of the whole thing.

It seemed that Mags and Shey were close with most of the club girls, and they all liked to talk. Loudly. It also seemed that some of them weren't afraid to send pictures to the ol' ladies bragging about having their man. But when he had wanted to do something about it they had shut him down. Seemed like they wanted to do something about it themselves.

He had grown quite close with the all, much to his brothers chagrin at times. He didn't know if it was because they felt sorry for him or if they wanted to keep an eye on him, but there were times where he was grateful for them being there. They were always ready to put him in his place, or to just let him be alone for a while.

Another thing that had changed was May the nurse from the hospital was now employed by the club. He wasn't sure how Prez had managed that one when he had majorly fucked up with her before, but he had noticed more of the brothers hanging around when she was working. He couldn't blame them, but it was Prez's reaction to them being there that made him laugh every time.

He had made it quite clear that she was to left alone unless she was interested, and Griff was sure that he had thought she wouldn't be interested in any of them. Unfortunately for him she had shown an interest in a few, at least it looked like she had whenever Prez was around at least.

With him, she had taken to making sure that he was alright mentally, always asking about how he was holding up. If he had to guess she had heard about Gin and her prick of a neighbor. They were still seeing each other, and he knew it would only be a matter of time before they were a full fledged couple.

He hated it, but knew that she deserved to be happy. And if he made her happy, no matter how he felt about it, then who was he to interfere.

Just then he saw May leaving Prez's office. She looked a bit flushed, and when she noticed him she made a beeline for him. Plonking herself down next to him she took his beer, that he hadn't touched, and took a deep pull. "So," she said after slamming the bottle down. "How's things?"

He smiled. "Good."

"Fucked anything up lately?"

"Nope, very proud of my non fuck up times. Prez been giving it to ya?" She had just taken another drink when he asked, so he wasn't surprised when she spat it out all over the table. "You okay?" he asked smirking.

She nodded. "Why did you say it like that?"

He gave her a confused look, "What do you mean? I only asked if he was giving you a hard time about the guys sniffing around."

"Well you implied something else!"

"Oh, did I? Sorry, didn't mean to." He totally meant to. He might have been one of the only guys who have noticed they way they were together. The only other people who suspected anything were the ol' ladies, but they weren't gonna say anything.

"How's therapy?" She was the only one who knew how many times he was going.

"Okay, been talking a lot about my childhood."
