Gin was saddened when she saw Cody storm off towards the temporary room he was staying in.

He had hardly spoken to her since she had made the decision of what to do with Mags and co. And she missed him.

She really didn't know what to do about him though. She cared for him, of course she did, how could she not. He had showed her that she was an amazing woman and helped her feel like one.

But she wasn't going to deny the fact that she still loved Griff. Especially after everything he has been doing for her lately.

He has been there for her in a way that he wouldn't have been before. And she could tell that he had changed a lot over the months. He had even started to open up about his therapy sessions. And what he had thought had been the underlying cause for all of his issues.

He had told her about his parents dumping him, his grandfather, and needing to please everyone.

And she was seeing him in a whole new light. He had even asked her if she would go with him to see his grandfather, just for some support.

She cared for Cody, maybe even loved him a little bit as well, but he wasn't the one that consumed her thoughts.

She knew how some would see her next actions, but she didn't care. It washer life and she was tired of trying to convince herself that she didn't love the man, and even though she would never forget what he had done, she could tell that he was indeed a changed man now. He wasn't sneaking off any more, wasn't unavailable after he spent time with her. Wasn't even looking at another woman.

He was always there with her.

A little too much at times, but she knew that his heart was in the right place. She had suffered a lot lately, and he wanted to make sure that she was safe.

Her mental state was still a bit unstable, she was still blaming herself and didn't see an end to it. But she had started to make some good progress with Amanda.

But she still missed Cody.

She wanted to go and talk with him, but when she had spoken to Beth about it she was told it may not be a good idea if she was going to get back with Griff. And she could see her point, but they had been friends before, what was stopping them from being friends again?

She sighed, that was just her selfishness talking, wasn't it?

Here she was, deciding on giving Griff another chance and she wanted to keep another man in the wings?

No it would be better for her to let him go and leave him alone.

So why the hell was she walking towards his room then?

'Okay, so I am walking over to his room. It doesn't mean that I am going to knock on his door or anything.'

She knocked.

It took a moment, but when the door opened she was momentarily struck dumb.

Once again he had nothing but a towel on.

"Gin?" He was frowning at her. "What are you doing here?"

"Will you hate me if I get back with Griff?" 'Okay not what I wanted to say at all!'

He sighed and held the door open for her to come in. "Sit, I think we need to talk." She did, feeling like a child. "No, I won't hate you. I don't think I could ever hate you, Gin. I wont say that I am thrilled that you are going to give him another chance, but even I can tell how much he has changed." he looked so sad that she had to stop herself from getting up to comfort him.
