Gin had been sitting in the coffee shop located next to the hospital foyer waiting for Beth for almost thirty minutes when she saw her running in like her life was in danger. "GIN! Gin where are you?" her frantic yell made everyone in the small space look at her as though she had lost her mind.

"Beth, be quiet. I'm right here." she had sat right by the door hoping that she would be seen as soon as her friend had gotten there. Unfortunately it seemed that not only did her friend lack any kind of manners but it seemed as though she was also somewhat blind.

"Oh, my god, you scared me! Why didn't you tell me that you weren't hurt?" Beth scolded her, flopping down into the chair opposite her. She could only sit and wait for the rant to end, knowing her friend like, she did she knew she wouldn't get a word in till she was finished. "I mean I came all the way here to see you. Find you are not at home, call you, only for you to tell me you were at the hospital. No explanation, no nothing. I mean, you could have at least told me that you weren't the one who was admitted. You made me worry for nothing. I hope you are proud of yourself!" she huffed, then sat back in her chair.

Gin laughed lightly at the sulky look on her face. "Beth, you rang me up, asked where I was then hung up as soon as I said hospital. How was I gonna tell you that I was just visiting someone, when you had hung up already? Hmm?"

"Oh, shut it with your logical thinking. What are you doing here anyway?"

"I was with Griff."

"Griff, your boyfriend? Why is he in the hospital or are you getting a second opinion on something?"

"Stop with your imagination. Your gonna get in trouble one of these days, you know. Griff was admitted late last night. He was being uncooperative so they called me in to calm him down." she dreaded telling her friend the rest. Beth was a very judgmental person. But she was also as honest as they came as well, never afraid to tell you how it is.

"Why was he admitted? Got shot?" and there she goes.

"No, he got drunk, then went to walk to mine when the keys he had wouldn't start his bike and had managed to get hit by a car." she shuddered at the thought of what might have happened had Prez not swapped his keys out.

"Why didn't his keys work?" Beth tilted her head as she tried to puzzle out the answer.

Gin looked at her as if she had grown a second head. "That is the thing you pick up on? His keys? Not him getting hit by a car? Or being drunk, but his keys?"

Beths mind was truly a strange place to be.

"Well, sorry for finding it odd. So, why was he drinking then? Trouble in paradise?"

"You could say that. He has been having sex with Mags, the whole time we have been together."

"NO!" her shock wasn't hard to miss. Nor was the look of disgust when she had mentioned Mags, she knew Beth hated the woman, thought there was just something fake about her.

Now she supposed she knew why, Beth was a good judge of character, and Gin was wondering why she had never listened to her warnings.

"Yep. Oh and get this she was also sleeping with Prez. Oh and she was the one who got Griff to start seeing me, with the promise of compensation after each and every encounter."

"That fucking fucked up fucker! Sorry no that's wrong. Those fucking fucked up fuckers. Who the hell does that to someone? Sickos thats who!" the fury Beth was giving off made a couple nearby so uncomfortable, they got up and left. But then again, she had a right to be angry on her friends behalf.

"Yep. What makes it even worse is she had been encouraging me to try new tactics to get him in bed. Of course now I know it was her bed she had meant all along and not mine. Do you know she even came over to my place to complain that Prez wasn't taking her calls after we both found out! Why would she ever think that I would care about the end of her relationship, when she had plotted to ruin mine from before it had even begun?"
