Griff watched as Gin broke down when Reaper stopped breathing. He rushed over to her and pulled her into his arms. Not sure how she would react to him comforting her, but he needed her to know that he was there for her.

Cody had his hands full dealing with his father, and Burn and Priest were both dealing with some of the men who he had brought with him.

Gin gripped his cut, and pulled him closer. "It should have been me. He shouldn't have... he shouldn't..." He held her closer as she sobbed into his chest. He was at a loss as to what to do, but knew that she needed him right now so he held her as she broke drown in his arms.

He watched as Prez rushed over after securing some of the men, then fell to his knees as he took in Reaper's prone form. As a former army medic, Prez had more experience in handling something like this. He watched as pain overtook Prez's features, and he knew that he wasn't the only one who was feeling the loss of their brother.

" Get Gin outta here. She doesn't need to be here any more." Prez said, his voice filled with sorrow. "We will, um...we will... we will bring Reap home." He struggled to get his words out.

Nodding Griff stood up and bent to pick up Gin.

She was still sobbing and showed no signs of stopping, but he didn't care. She could cry all night if she needed too. He took her to his car and drove her back to the clubhouse.

She cried the whole way, but it was slowing down a bit.

"I'm...I'm sorry...for ...crying." she said from the passenger seat. Trying hard to stem the flow of tears.

"Gin, babe, you need to cry and I am not gonna stop you."

"I'm sorry...it...it should have..." she started, but he cut her off.

"Don't you dare! Don't you dare say that it should have been you! Reaper knew what he was doing, he knew the risks, we all did, and he still did it. He, along with the rest of us, would have done the same thing." They arrived at the clubhouse and he parked the car, before pulling her into his arms again. "If I had been closer to you at the time I would have done the fucking same. Babe I would kill for you. And I would most definitely die for you. Never say that you should have been the one to die, okay?" If you are reading this anywhere but on Wattpad, then this story has been stolen. It is free to read on Wattpad. She didn't respond, but kept on crying. He hated seeing her like this.

He carried her into the building, with the intention of taking her straight up to his room, but he didn't count on Beth being there. Although he should have, she was Gin's best friend after all.

"GIN!" she yelled as she jumped up from where she sat and practically ran over to them. "Oh god! What happened?"

Gin burst into uncontrollable sobs again, and he put her down so that the two could hug each other. Then he turned to Rita.

She took one look at him and sobbed. "No! Griff tell me he's not..."

"We lost Reaper. Stepped in front of a gun aimed at Gin. Took the bullet in the gut. He bleed out."

"I'm so...s..sorry...it should have..." Gin tried to say, but Rita marched right up to her. Grabbing her into a hug.

"Don't, okay." she sniffed. "He would have done that for anyone. And you were like the grand daughter he never got to have. You reminded him so much of Sil." She said as she stroked her hair from her face, as she tried to hold her own tears back. "He... he wouldn't have had it any other way, Ginny Girl, okay?"

She nodded, but he could tell that she was gonna blame herself for the loss of Reaper for a long time.

"Gin, babe, let's get you upstairs. Rita and Beth can help you get cleaned up, yeah?" She nodded and watched at they led her away.

Just then May came into the room from the hallway leading to her office, and rushed over to him. "Griff, what happened? Is everyone okay?"

"No." he took a deep breath, this was getting harder and harder to talk about with out breaking down himself. Reaper had been the grandfather to all of them. "We lost Reaper, he took a bullet for Gin."

The look of devastation on her face reflected how everyone felt. The door opened behind him, and he turned in time to see a few of the guys carrying in Reapers body. Prez walked in after them. "May...your, um...your office empty?"

She nodded and watched as they took him back to place his body there for now.

The next few days were going to be pure hell for the lot of them.

Especially Gin.

But he wasn't gonna allow her to think it should have been her for a second longer.

Gin sat on the floor of the shower in Griff's room, crying again.

All she could do at the moment was cry, and replay everything that had happened. She was going round in circles trying to think of ways that it could have gone differently.

She begged for it all to be a dream, that she would close her eyes and wake up, to realize that none of it had happened, it was all her imagination.

But it was very much real. It had happened, and there was nothing that could change anything.

Reaper was dead.

He was dead and it should have been her.

She was the one who was meant to take that bullet. She was the one who was meant to die.

Reaper would be alive now if it wasn't for her.

People wouldn't be hurting if it wasn't for her.

She tried to keep the volume down. She really didn't want anyone to comfort her. She didn't deserve it.

So she sat there, crying as quietly as she could, blaming herself.

The door suddenly opened, and Griff stepped into the room.

"Gin, Baby, you need to get out of the shower. You've been in there for an hour. The waters gotta be freezing by now." His voice was so gentle, she barely recognized it.

She shook her head. She needed to stay there.

If she was there then there wasn't any way she could do anything to hurt anyone else.

"Gin you can either get out on your own or I'm gonna get you out. Either way, baby, you are getting out of that damn shower."

She stared at him for a few moments, and knew that he would follow through. So slowly she stood up, not caring that she was naked and more prune like then she had ever been in her life, and stepped out on to the cold tiled floor.

Griff quickly wrapped a large towel around her and began to dry her off, then pulled her favorite night gown over her head and lead her over to the bed where he took his time drying her hair.

Gently he helped her lay down in is bed, and wrapped the covers over her. Then stretched out next to her, wrapping his arms around her, once again.

And once again the tears started flowing again.

She didn't know how long she cried for, before sleep finally overtook her, but she did know that Griff didn't let her go at all.

And when she woke up in the morning, he was still holding her.

Something she desperately needed at that moment.

I've been wondering, what do people imagine the characters to look like?
I think I've only given two descriptions, maybe. And I know that when I read a book sometimes the way I imagine them are different to the description.
So I was wondering what everyone thought.
