Cody was sitting in the back of a coffee shop, waiting for the two people he arranged to meet to show up. They weren't late, but he wanted to make sure that he hadn't been followed.

Ever since he overheard that conversation last week he had been extremely cautious.

To think that they would go to such lengths for a girl who wasn't even blood, infuriated him. That woman was really beginning to piss him off to the extreme. Ever since she had turned up it had been one long drama after the other. And most of the time it was over things she had made up.

That bitch just doesn't know the difference between reality and her imagination. She had once accused his uncle of abusing her, causing his father to torture the man for days before the truth came out. But then again he always did blindly believe whatever she said. The fact that he knew that he was so flamboyantly gay he practically spat rainbows meant nothing compared to what she had said.

One of his guests arrived, not without drawing a lot of attention.

"What did you want to talk about?" he asked.

"You tell me? You're the one with all the secrets." Griff growled.

"I'm guessing you did a background check on me when Gin started to show interest?" he asked a smirk forming on his face. He knew that he did, a man like Griff wouldn't be able to stop himself.

"Yeah I fucking did! You wanna tell me what the fuck you are playing at? If you think I'm gonna let Gin be played by you and Mags you've got another thing coming!" Cody could tell that the man was holding himself back from hitting him, and he couldn't blame him really.

If he was in his shoes, he would do the same.

"I have no plans to do anything that psycho wants."

"You expect me to believe that? She's your fucking sister!" Fury was written all over his face. Understandable given what she had convinced him to do. Not that he was condoning it, of course, Griff was fully capable of saying no, but he knew just how Mags can wrap people around her finger.

She had a talent of getting people to do something she wanted them to do, even knowing that they would never do it normally. Like with his uncle.

"No she isn't. My father may have adopted her but she is nothing to me. I hate that bitch with a passion. If I had known that she was the one that was fucking with Gin I would have fucking taken her out a long time ago. Gin has been, and always will be, a very close friend to me."

Griff stood there for a moment before pulling out a chair and sitting.

"So what the hell are you doing with Gin then?" He sounded so sullen, Cody found it hard to suppress his smile.

"Well, for starters, a bit of revenge. Both on you and my ex. But there was also the fact that she is fucking hot as hell. I like women who are on the bigger side. Stick thin like Mags never appealed to me. And lastly she needed to feel like the attractive woman that she is. Something you took from her when your little deal came to light."

The look on his face was quite comical. It was somehow a mix of guilt, pain and shame. With maybe a bit of fury thrown in.

"Why do you need revenge?" He asked after a minute of sulking.

"Not your business." he said curtly. And it was true, he had no right to know about his revenge plan. "It wont hurt Gin, don't worry. But that isn't why I agreed to talk with you." Griff raised an eyebrow but said nothing. "You know about my family, yes? You know what they are all capable of?" Griff nodded. "Mags has set my father on Gin."

Fury glowed in his eyes, "Explain?"

"I will, we are just waiting for one more person."

Cody could tell that he was about to ask who when he heard his uncle's voice. "YOO WHOO CODY DARLING!" He was never one to just enter a room.
