Impulsive proposal

I barely slept. I couldn't stop thinking about that stupid nerd!

Anyhow, my parents weren't home, as usual, so after breakfast I called my friends to go shopping.

I don't know why, but we decided to shop in town.

We were just looking around, having fun,when I felt a warm gaze on my back. I turned around.

"Oh, hey Dipper." Great. Now that nerd was here. It couldn't get much worse.

"Hi Paci- Ahem, Hi Pacifica. " His face was red like a tomato.

My face also felt hot. Was I embarrassed to talk to him?

"Hey Pacifica! " I heard Tiffany call.

"I guess Ile be going..." I said, turning to leave. Dipper also turned.

"See ya." He said.

"Wait." Call it an impulsive proposal. "Do you wanna have dinner tonight? At Rosano's?" It was the most expensive place in the area.

Was I trying to impress Dipper Pines? My parents had always warned me nit to mix with common folk, especially since the "ghost incident" .

Even without turning around, I could tell by the silence that Dipper was shocked.

"Pacifica? " Tiffany snapped.

"Dipper? Did you hear me?" I had to hurry this up.

"Um, yeah sure."

I smiled. "See ya at eight then!" I skipped away.

I was in so much trouble.
