~Alex's POV~

I shoot up in bed and look around. My breath is beyond my reach, I hold my chest as I try and calm myself down. That dream I just had... It didn't make any sense. It was of me and Erza, she seemed to be fixing my makeup, but the room we were in... I've never seen that classroom in my life. We both had matching brown blazers with brown skirts, white collared shirts, and a red ribbon tied under the collar flaps. When Erza's done my makeup, we get up together, leave the classroom, and head to the fountain... What fountain?

I wipe my eyes and stare down at my fingers. They're stained with black and pink. My makeup is guaranteed to be ruined. I push myself up from bed and drag myself to the bathroom. The exhaustion is weighing me down as if I have layers and bricks on my shoulders. I do whatever I need to, brush my teeth, brush my hair— or try to—, and redo my makeup. They're dead. That thought continues to infiltrate my pre-existing ones, no matter how hard I try to suppress it to the back of my mind... They're dead. The Ultimate Cosmetologist and The Ultimate Scientist. One was insane and the other... What if she was lying too? No, I can't think that.

The faucet runs creakily and loudly as the water hits the sink. The mirror's too dirty, the floors are too cold... Everything's wrong here. I quickly finish everything and notice that that strand of hair that wouldn't slick down is now drooping... I want to test something.

I smile and wait for a reaction. The strand rises back up. I rest my face and the strand sulks. This is the weirdest thing ever. The Ultimate Scientists laughs won't leave my mind after this phenomenon. How insane would she have gone when she found this out?

Once everything is finished, I leave my dorm room. I don't hear any other doors closing, so I may be the last one getting up. Did I miss the morning announcement? Keeping a close eye out I make my way to the main hall for anyone along the way. I don't bump into anyone by the time I arrive. My hands grip the door handles and pull the doors open. I was already greeted with an interesting sight.

"I'm telling you, I've never met Erza in my life. Not until the first day of this," Jaxx declares, looking up at Light from a chair.

Light stands over him. "You both have the same last name, you're both redheads with red eyes, and you guys look alike! You can't tell me you guys aren't siblings."

Jaxx retorts, "Don't you think I'd remember if we were siblings like you and Alex remember?"

"Maybe not," Drake mutters, his eyes focused on his game. "I think Jade and Darkness are sisters, too. They looked alike, too. Same last names."

"Do you know how popular the last name Moore is?" Jade crosses her arms in front of her.

I walk into the room and skip going to the buffet bar. I can't bring myself to eat at the moment. I walk over to Jade and watch the conversation unravel.

"And what did you mean "you're lying"? What are you hiding, Redhead!?" Zach exclaims, slamming the table in front of Jaxx.

Jaxx rolls his eyes, "I'm not hiding anything. Did we forget the fact that she's a MAD scientist?"

Zach looks up from Jaxx and toward Jade. "Jade, what did your slip say again? Also, 'morning, Alex."

Jade digs in her pocket and pulls out a slip. She squints at it, then raises an eyebrow. I peek over her shoulder and see the source of her confusion. The motive, the words are gone. They're not on the paper any more!
