~Alex's POV~

On my way back to the intersection, I don't bump into anyone or see anyone around. Since I have enough time, I can stop by the fashion building down City Hall Ave. to pick up a few spare fabrics. Disregarding the clock, I turn down City Hall Ave. I pass the CDs and Video Game Shop, and I almost skip the Dojo when I hear shouting and loud exclamations. I pause outside outside of the building and watch through the entrance.

Padded flooring sits in the middle of the dojo and a wooden floor surrounds the padding. Wooden walls with large industrial windows surround the flooring and dark pillars hold up the ceiling. Toward the back of the dojo is a traditional painting covering the wall, illuminated by hanging rectangular lamps. On the left wall are a pair of sliding squared frame doors, and a noise draws my attention away from them.

On the padding, I notice a blur swiftly moving with breezes coming from a spear held securely in her grasp. I slip my shoes off as I step into the building, then run my hand along the wooden walls as I head toward the flooring. The fighter pauses briefly to catch her breath before kicking the end of the spear, seeing it in front of her face, and moving briskly in a blur once she catches it. I sit down on the floor surrounding where Jade's— ... Fighting, practicing, I don't know.

My eyes scan the dojo, taking in all of the details dedicated to this building. Luckily, there are no Monokumas that ruin the beautiful structure and the art inside. When I lift my head, a gust of wind whirls through my hair, blowing it to the right, and a metallic glint glitters in my peripheral. My eyes widen as they meet Jade's, whose brows raise in shock before she sheepishly giggles and lowers the spear.

"Sorry!" She turned and tossed the spear behind her onto the padding. It lands with a soft thud. "For some reason, I thought you were the cats coming back again. They were here earlier bothering me and shstuff... What're you doing here, Love?"

An invisible sweat runs down the side of my face as a crooked smile forms on my face. "It's alright!... I was just I was wandering around looking for something to do."

Jade instantly beams and cheerfully says, "Well, you can hang out with me! It's nice seeing that you're doing better, ya know? Bonus points for you coming out of your room!"

"Yeah, I thought about that," I add, kicking my feet over the edge of the wooden flooring and letting them rest on the padding.

"Oh, alright!" Jade sits down beside me and crosses her legs. She looks over at me with a content smile. "What do you want to talk about?"

I think for a moment... I can't conjure up any conversation starters. I could ask her about how she's feeling after the trial since she was affected, too... So, I do. I ask her about her about her thoughts and feelings on the events that transpired yesterday.

"Hm..." Jade glances up at the ceiling, thinking hard, before she stares at the painting ahead and says, "I'm not sure. I don't believe that whole Kevin Moore shinanigan he brought up... Kevin's my brother, yeah, but he isn't dead. In fact, he came with me on the first day of school. We went together, we walked inside and ... Oh, crap."

I cock my head to the side. "What's wrong?"

Jade shakes her head with a sigh, "I don't remember what happened after we stepped inside of the school. We walked inside, and... I'm pretty sure I passed out. But, I know he's not dead because he was beside me the other day. I just don't believe him. If he did die, I'm pretty sure I'd know about it."
