~Alex's POV~
We step off of the platform and are about to head to our podiums before Monokuma springs up from his throne.
"Wait wait wait!" Monokuma waves his paws frantically. "Before we start, I see that you guys are too close together. So, we're doing a bit of stand movement!" Monokuma points to Sora and orders, "You, go to where the TikToker was!"
Sora looks over to Candi's stand with a raised brow. "I can't, her portrait's there."
Monokuma giggles, "Phuhuhu, of course, you can! Just move it aside and I'll put it back later."
"You better have some respect for my friends," Skye grumbles, popping her knuckles.
Disregarding complaints once more, Monokuma continues to issue some new spots to some of us. Instead of standing beside Drake, Jade's now standing in Levi's spot, Sora's standing where Candi stood, and Skye's standing at Erza's podium. Everyone else walks to their original spots.
"Now, allow me to give you a rundown of the trial—"
"I'm sure we've got it," Sora groans, moving Candi's portrait behind him and stepping into the podium.
Monokuma hums, "Hmm, don't care. Now, during the class trial, you will present your arguments for who the killer is, and vote for "whodunnit". If you vote correctly, then only the blackened will receive punishment. But if you pick the wrong person... I'll punish everyone besides the blackened, and that person will earn the right to leave this town!
C'mon, let's give it a go! Let's see who'll make it out of this trial alive..."
We all glance at each other nervously... Then, my eyes land on the two new portraits in the room.
