it's the last day that violet and her friends are in ohio for. they spent the day at rose's house, talking, having fun, making the most of these last few hours spent together.

everyone had packed their bags, all set for going home tomorrow afternoon. most of them had taken turns through the day to shower, freshen up for most likely being tired once they arrive home in california.

now it's reached the evening, they decide on wanting to have a pizza party. order a few pizza's, side's and dessert's, watch a few movies while comfortably on the couch with lots of pillows and blankets.

violet had changed into one of ashton's shirts, along with her pyjama pants prior to sitting downstairs with everyone, ashton is comfortable in his sweatpants and a tank top. they're sitting on the couch together, violet's legs laying over his, as his hands rest on them.

calum, luke and michael are sitting on the other sofa, rose and lisa on the same sofa as violet and ashton as they scroll through what pizza's to order.

"so, i have one pepperoni, a margarita, hawaiian, um chicken wings, garlic bread, what am i missing..." rose pauses, going back through the menu. "oh, cheesy fries here they are."

"wait what does the wait time say?" lisa points to the bottom of the page after rose goes through to pay.

"you're kidding, two hours?" rose complains.

violet leans over towards them, seeing where it says it on the phone. noticing pick up is a much shorter wait time.

"why don't i go pick it up?" she suggests.

"only if you really wanna do that," rose says.

"sure, it's not a problem if it's quicker."

rose hesitates for a second, before getting up to grab her car keys, "want me to come with you?"

"i'll go," ashton stands up following them into the hall.

rose takes her keys from the dish on the side near the door, passing them to violet for her to place in the pocket of her pyjamas. ashton jogs up the stairs, appearing only a short few minutes later with two hoodies in hand.

"one for you, one for me," he smiles.

violet slips the hoodie on over her head. specifically ashton's the clash hoodie. while he wears a plain black one. they both put their shoes on, ready to head out.

"you remember the way?" rose widens her eyes at violet as she leans on her side against the wall.

"yea, drive into town, take a left at east and it's next to the grocery store."

"don't get lost."

violet is sure she won't, opening the front door to go out to the car. she unlocks it, getting into the drivers side as ashton gets into the passenger seat. and they're on their way.

driving here is almost like muscle memory for her, remembering every road, every turn, every direction to get to where they need to go. she thought she would've forgotten the directions by now, but here they are outside their local pizza parlour.

violet pulls out her phone from her pocket, finding the order number rose had texted to her. "i'll just go in real quick, see how long it'll be," she tells ashton. "just wait here a minute."

ashton nods his head, watching as violet walks into the building. she shows them her order number, getting told it would be around fifteen minutes. not too long to wait. she walks back to the car after, sitting back inside.

looking out of the window, violet looks around at the old buildings she used to frequent. being back in ohio these past two weeks has been chaotic and incredible all at the same time. she's had a great time with rose, seeing her grandparents, for once she's been happy to be here.
