late morning. ashton and violet are comfortable in bed having had the perfect nights sleep. her back is pressed to ashton's chest, one of his arms under her neck, the other hanging over her hip.

last night was an eventful night. their date went well, enjoying that time spent together, coming back to rose's house also went well.

it was the first time since violet has had to deal with the trauma of her ex, that she felt comfortable letting ashton see her in such a venerable way. completely bare to him, letting him touch her in the way he did. she would use the word heavenly to describe how ashton made her feel.

there were a few moments of hesitation, she had to get him to stop the first time purely because she was concerned she was squeezing her legs around his head too tightly. worried she would hurt him. of course, he reassured her that she wasn't hurting him at all and that everything was fine.

the second time was when she was close to that purely blissful feeling nearing the end, it was an unfamiliar feeling to her and she was slightly embarrassed when she explained that she was worried about finishing like that. ashton made sure to reassure her as much as possible, ending up kneading his hands into the tops of her thighs as a comforting tactic. which did help.

a third time she stopped him was when they were comfortably on the bed. she was sitting in between his legs, her back to him, her legs separated as he got to work with his hands.

she truly only stopped him because the idea of anything.. you know.. what he'd be doing with his hands.. did freak her out a little. he went about things slowly, easing her into every movement, every touch. and she did settle into it quite quickly.

after things were over, she offered to return what he had done for her. however, ashton told her not to worry, that he was just happy to have gotten to make her feel good.

as much as he would've liked to feel the same, he could tell by her expression that it had tired her out, a slightly dazed look in her eyes. he thought it wouldn't be the best decision to let her do the same for him.

they laid in bed for a little while, ashton hugging violet close to him, her head on his chest while his hands ran up and down her back. she's sure it's the most comforting thing she's ever felt. after doing something so intimate with ashton, it was almost an emotional feeling to get to lay there and stay close to one another.

once she was ready, ashton got up, found a shirt for her to wear to bed, helping to slip it on over her head and on her arms. he picked her up to take her to the bathroom, cleaning her up before making sure she definitely felt comfortable enough to sleep.

violet fell asleep as soon as they got back into bed, she was out like a light. not even giving ashton time to say a proper goodnight to her. instead, he opted for quietly telling her how much he loves her, how happy she's made him for the past six months. he didn't care if she could hear him or not, he wanted to say it all anyway.

now, ashton begins to wake up. he moves around slightly, tightening his arm around violet's front to pull her into him more again. he yawns quietly before opening his eyes, smiling as he sees violet still sleeping front of him.

he leans up, brushing her hair off of her face, running the back of his fingers softly across her cheek. a small smile forms on her face, perhaps subconsciously. she does move slightly though, leaning her head back as she lets out a quiet hum.

she slowly opens her eyes, looking up at ashton. he leans down, pressing a delicate kiss to her forehead, leaning his head on her shoulder. they stay quiet in this time, until violet turns over, laying her head on ashton's chest, his arm around her shoulders.
