I Need You

I'm excited to see George when I get back to the station but to my dismay I get told by Molly that they moved into the upstairs flat of the new shop in Diagon ally. Before I can make my way over to the fireplace, Snape comes slumping up to us. "Asteria! You need to come back home. Your father is going on trial, and may very well be sent to Azkaban." Snape tells me. "Guess I should go be there for mother and Draco." I mutter, looking towards Molly. She nods before bringing me into a hug. "I'll tell George where you went. You're always welcome to stay with us at the Burrow. Although George wanted you to move in with them. But that's up to you. It is rather small." She adds before letting go as Snape offers me is arm to grab. "Thanks Molly, I'll have a think about it" I reply with a grin. I take a deep breath before grabbing Snape's arm.

'Whoosh'

We apparate to the Malfoy Manor. I stand looking at the house I grew up in. It didn't feel like home anymore. Mother runs out the doors to greet me. "Asteria, It's so good to see you darling." "You too Mum." I mumble as she hugs me. "Thanks you for bringing her Severus" She says, pulling away from me to look at Snape. "Anytime Narcissa." Snape replies, before disappearing away. "Is he still here" I ask my mother as we walk towards the house. "Yes. Unfortunately so is Bellatrix" She replies. "Great" I mutter under my breath.

Over the next few days we are back and forward between the Ministry and the Manor for Fathers trial, he kept pleading not guilty and told everyone he was under the Imperius curse due to the dark lords orders. He was found guilty and sent to Azkaban prison. We were forced to stay in the manor as the photographers for the Daily Profit wouldn't leave us alone after father went to Azkaban. I thought It was enough that I was in the paper twice, against my will. Mother was distraught and not herself after that. It didn't help that Voldemort was on our back every day demanding to make Draco a Deatheater. He seemed to think we will both do a better job than our father.

"Asteria, darling I'm going out with Bella. I want you to stay here with Draco." Mother calls from outside my door one day. This is weird, she's usually to scared to leave the manor. Voldemort must not be here. "Where are you going." I say, jumping up from my bed, opening the door. "To see Severus. I'm hoping he can help with our situation." She tells me. I think for a moment wondering if I should tell her about the unbreakable vow Draco and I made. I look up and see my brother shaking his head, as he walks down the stairs, weirdly knowing exactly what I was thinking.

As Mother and Bella leave the house, Draco pulls me into the kitchen. "I know what you wanted to tell her." He demands, rather abruptly. "What's got you in a bad mood." I ask, pulling my arm away from his grip. "Its happening soon." He tells me. My heart sinks. "When" I ask curiously. "3rd of August" He moans, before grabbing an apple from the bench and walking away.

3rd August 1996

Today is the day my brother becomes a Deatheater. But a few days ago we each got a letter by owl post from Hogwarts to say Draco and I both become Prefects for Slytherin house this year. I don't think Draco would be in the mood for perfect duties so I hope I don't have to do everything myself. He's been too busy preparing for his Deatheater duties. I don't feel like dressing up, as I'm still recovering from the last full moon that was a few nights ago as I forgot to take my potion. Let's just say it was a stressful night. So I decide to throw up my messy hair in a ponytail and throw on some leggings and a big black hoodie. We apparate with mother to Diagon ally to get some supplies for school before we are due to meet at Borgin and Burkes for Draco's initiation. We sneak through Kockturn Alley, not wanting to bee seen. Draco and I stand at the door of Borgin and burkes for a moment, taking a deep breath before entering. The scene in the back room of the shop looked eerily similar to my initiation.

After Draco's painful initiation Borgin tells us about the Vanishing cabinet in his store

After Draco's painful initiation Borgin tells us about the Vanishing cabinet in his store. Draco runs his hand over the wooden door. "It's the same" Draco mutters, as mother kisses him on the cheek. "So what's his task exactly." I mutter. "Wait" Fenrir Greyback growls, before pulling down the blinds. "He is to find a way to kill Dumbledore and let us Deatheater's into the castle." Fenrir continues. Weirdly still looking at me in a creepy way. "Had a bad night Asteria," He says, rubbing my cheek. "That's enough." Mother demands. "Can we get going." She adds, before Draco wanders over to browse the other shelves. He ends up buying an Opal Necklace along with the Hand of Glory he so desperately wanted in his  first year.

Everything is silent as were walking back through Knockturn Ally heading back in the dead streets of Diagon Ally. I look back at the only blooming store left open and see a concerned looking Atti and George standing outside the twins shop. George makes his way over to me. "Mother can I please hang out with George. It's been at least a month and a half since I've seen him." I plead. "Of course dear. Keep me updated how long you stay." She beams, giving me a hug. "What about what I've just been through." Draco moans. "Get over it Draco. I did." I demand walking towards George and Atti. "But I need you." He pleads. I roll my eyes. "No you don't Draco. You are not a baby. I've been through soo much these past few months and you didn't help when I needed you. So you're on your own." I yell turning back to face my brother. Tears now streaming down my face as I run over to give George the biggest hug ever.

George takes me up to their flat so I can get cleaned up. I tell him about the recent events as he brews some coffee. We talk for a few hours as he asks me how I got my scars. I tell him I didn't take my potion before a full moon and well It wasn't a very pleasant night. He then takes me down to the store to show me everything they have accomplished. I stand looking at the miniature Puffskeiens, trying to decide If  want one or not. "Not your colour, Right?" Fred says from behind me. I turn around and see George standing next to him holding a black version of the little creatures. "Not many people wanted a black one when they saw Pink and Purple" Fred tells me. "So I thought you might like him" George beams. "Yes! Yes! Yes! He's adorable." I yell, jumping over and placing him on my shoulder. I pull out my money to pay for him, but George refuses to take it, giving him to me for free.  I spend the last week helping the twins in their store during the day but staying at the Burrow in the twins old room each night.

Harry Potter wouldn't shut up about assuming my brother now being a Deatheater. Little does he know he's living with one right now.
