"That was rough."

We all stood around together, discussing about Axel and Oscar and what to do with them. T wants to keep them, let them living here with us, maybe even show us if their trust worthy or not.

"You serious? You want them living in a cell next to you?" Rick frowns at T. "They'll just be waiting for a chance to grab our weapons. You wanna-You wanna go back to sleeping with one eye open?"

"I never stopped." T shakes his head. "Bring them into the fold. If we send 'em off packing, we might as well execute them ourselves."

"I don't know. Axel seems a little unstable." Glenn shakes his head.

"After all we've been through?" Carol asks. "We fought so hard for all this, what if they decide to take it?"

"It's just been us for so long." Maggie claims. "It just-It just feels weird all of a sudden having more people around."

"You brought us in." I remind her.

"Yeah, but you turned up with a shot boy in your arms." She shakes her head. "Didn't give us a choice."

"You had a choice. You could've turned us away, or shot us yourselves. But you didn't. Complete strangers showing up at your door and you gave us a chance."

"Are you wanting to give them a chance?" Rick asks me.

"They can't even kill walkers." I argue.

"They're convicts bottom line." Carol shakes her head.

"They might have less blood on their hands than we do." I protest.

"I get guys like this." Daryl claims. "Hell, I grew up with them. They're degenerates, but they ain't psychos. I coulda been in there with them just as easy as I'm out here with you guys."

"So are you with us?" T asks.

"Hell, no." Daryl shakes his head. "Let 'em take their chances out on the road just like we did."

"What I'm saying, Daryl-" T begins before Rick cuts him off.

"When I was a rookie, I arrested this kid. Nineteen years old, wanted for stabbing his girlfriend. The kid blubbered like a baby during the interrogation, during the trial- suckered the jury. He was acquitted due to insufficient evidence and then two weeks later, shot another girl. We've been through too much. Our deal with them stands."

"Rick-" He turns to me, holding up a hand, silencing me.

"Our deal with 'em stands. That's it." I felt a bit anger. I wanted to give him my two cents on this.

"You told me that I'd become a leader one day." I speak anyways. He pauses and sighs out. "So I'm choosing to stand my ground and tell you what I believe. Look, Axel isn't gonna last long out there. He's scared of his own shadow. Hell, he's the guy who shoots himself cleaning his own gun. Oscar, he stands his own ground, too. Maybe he's stronger than Axel. Maybe Oscar has a chance. But if we're in trouble, if there's a threat among us, who's to say that Oscar can't help out?"

"Why would you want a couple of convicts living with us?" Maggie frowns.

"We don't even know what they were in prison for." I argue. "Just because they were locked in here, doesn't necessarily mean they're bad people."

"Find the files and find out why they're here." Rick shrugs.

"That's not fair. this isn't judge and jury. There's no standing before the judge. No proven innocent or guilty. Come on, we've gotta give them a chance. I'll keep watch. I'll take their responsibility. I was right about Thomas and Andrew, look what happened. I have a good feeling about the other two. Give them a chance." Rick slightly shakes his head and walks away. I throw my head back, letting out an irritated sigh.
