Kira

"I'm gonna start on some graves."

Rick's sobs had quieted down drastically. He kept on his knees, staring off into space, holding a complete blank stare. I furrow my brows, Daryl taking notice of my face and turning to Rick. He calls to him, but he doesn't seem to respond.

"Rick, you with me? Rick." He waves his hand in front of his face. But Rick doesn't respond. I wasn't sure whether it was safe for me to approach him or not. Whether it was a good idea to speak to him and explain to him what happened.

"Let me see the baby." Hershel's voice breaks through. Carl walks over to Hershel, holding the baby in front of him. I feel Glenn tug on my arm a bit and I pull myself away from Rick.

"Just give him some space, all right? There's nothing we can do but to let him have his grief and mourn over Lori." He says softly.

"I can't help but shake the feeling that he's not mourning, though. With the way he's looking, he's not doing so good." I say, folding my arms over my chest.

"And we'll figure it out from there." He nods.

"What are we gonna feed it?" Daryl asks Hershel. "We got anything we can give?"

"The good news is she looks healthy." Hershel inspects the baby. "But she needs formula. And soon or she won't survive."

"Nope. No way. Not her." Daryl denies. "We ain't losin' nobody else. I'm going for a run."

"I'll back you up." I call to Daryl.

"I'll go, too." Glenn nods.

"Whoa. Shouldn't you stay?" Jack asks me. "You've just gone through something traumatic."

"I'm fine. I'm good." I assure him. "I just...need you to keep an eye on Rick." I say.

"Okay, think where we're going." Daryl nods at Glenn and I. "Beth." He pulls Beth to the side, speaking to her quietly.

"Got any ideas?" Glenn asks me.

"Yeah, I think so." I nod as we begin gathering a bag for the trip.

"You two get the fence. Too many pile up, we got ourselves a problem." Daryl calls to the prisoners. "Glenn, Kira, vámonos!" I hear the sound of metal scraping and turn my head. Rick pulls himself up and rushes off towards the prison.

"Rick!" I call, but he ignores me and continues on inside. Glenn pulls back on my arm, guiding me back.

"Get the gate." Daryl orders the prisoners. "Come on, we're gonna lose the light!" I pull away with Glenn. Daryl, Glenn and I jog down to the cars, Daryl climbing on his bike.

"There's a Piggly Wiggly's down 85." Glenn calls.

"No, the baby section's been cleared." I say. "Lori asked me to keep an eye out. I haven't had much luck."

"Is there any place that hasn't been completely looted?" Daryl asks.

"We saw signs for a shopping center just north of here." Glenn nods.

"Yeah, but there's too much debris on the road." I shake my head. "A car will never get through there."

"I can take one of you." Daryl answers.

"I'll go." I quickly claim.

"No, Kira." Glenn shakes his head. "After everything that you've been through, okay, I'll go."
