Six Months Later,
It was an early school morning, James and Winnie were up getting ready for work before getting the kids ready for school. James walked into the bathroom to see Winnie giving herself a self breast exam.
"Winnie?" He said
"James look.." she said
He feels around to feel the lump she found, "Baby you need to go to the doctor that could be something serious." He said
"I know but I.." she said but then they heard a voice.
"Mama are you in here.."
"Just a minute Buchanan.." she said as she quickly pulled on her clothes.
She walked into the bedroom, "Hey baby you are up early." She said
"Look I picked out what I wanted for my birthday!" He said as he held up the toy magazine that they got in the mail.
"Let me see.." she said as she sat on the bed.
Bucky sat in her lap, and showed her all he circled. James smiled at the moment before finishing getting dressed.
"Oh daddy better break out the credit card. Come on let's go downstairs baby it's your morning to pick breakfast." She said as James chuckled from the bathroom.
"Yay! Chocolate chip pancakes! Bacon! Sausage and eggs!" He exclaimed.
"Now that sounds like my favorite breakfast." James said from the bathroom.
"Better hurry daddy I will eat it all." He said
James ran out of the bathroom, and grabbed him to tickle him then carried him downstairs on his shoulder as Winnie followed them.
They all enjoyed breakfast before heading off to school and work. Later that night James came home after back to back surgeries. He quickly went upstairs to take a shower, to find Bucky asleep in their bed.
When he came back down had warmed up the lasagna she made for dinner..
"Did you call the doctor?" He said as he ate.
"No it's been so hectic today. Besides his birthday is in two weeks and the twins birthday is after his I don't want to ruin it." She said
"Just promise me you will call Win. I can't lose you..and honestly I don't know what will happen to James if we do lose you. He will fall apart if it happens." He said
"Ok I promise." She said
