(77) A Rainy Day

Two days later,

It was a rainy day, Bucky and Reign got their homework done as the rain turned into a thunderstorm. 

"Come with me." He said as he took outside on the back porch. 

"Buck.." she whispered 

They were out in the rain, as he kissed her. He laid her down on one of the lawn chairs they both began to moan. 

"Where is everyone tonight?" She whispered as she looked up at him. 

"Dad is working, I think Ophelia said something about Izzy had dance practice and choir tonight..she said she would be back by 7. So that's in 20 minutes." He said 

They began to kiss again, meanwhile Ophelia was trying to drive home in the storm when lightening struck a light pole causing a power outage, and stop light to go out. She started to cross the intersection cause it looked clear. 

When a truck came barreling through, and hit her hard causing her to flip into oncoming traffic where she was hit again. They were rushed into the ER, where James was paged. 

"Joe?" James said 

"I don't need you working, I had you paged because Ophelia and Izzy was bought in. They were in a accident." Joe said 

"Are they ok?" He said 

"It isn't looking good but I will keep you updated." Joe said 

James went to sit down, and his sister sat with him. "They are going to be fine James.." Delilah said 

"I need to call the kids.." he said 

He started with Bucky, but he left his phone inside. Bucky and Reign were having sex in the rain with her on top of him as he held her close and they made out. He moved down her neck.

"Oh James..James!" She whispered 

"Mmm baby I'm gonna come.." he said as they locked lips, and he spilled into her. 

"Mmm I love you.." he whispered 

She smiled, "You do?" She whispered as their foreheads were together.

"Yeah I do.." he said 

"That's good cause I love you too.." she whispered 

"We better get dressed before Ophelia and Izzy come out here and find us. They should be back by now.." he said 

They went inside put on dry clothes, Bucky saw his phone buzzing and all the missed calls from everyone. He called Ryan back 

"Hey little J, where have you been?" Ryan said 

"Sorry I left my phone on silent from school, and um me and Reign were a little busy." He said 

"Dad called, ophelia and Izzy were in a accident. We are all at the hospital with dad." Ryan said 

"Oh no.." he said as he mouthed to Reign to put her shoes on. 

"We will be right there. " Bucky said and hung up. 

"What happened?" She said 

"Ophelia and Izzy were in a accident. Everyone is at the hospital." He said as they left. 

They arrived, and sat with the family. Sarah came out with Dr Tucker who was Izzy's doctors. 

"James, Izzy didn't make it I'm sorry, we did everything we could but she was DOA." Sarah said .

James started to cry, Delilah rubbed his shoulders "Shhh little brother, Ophelia is going to need you to be strong." Delilah said 

An hour later, Joe came out with Talia. 

"James.." Joe said 

"First off we are so very sorry about Izzy, we are also sorry that Ophelia lost the twins. She did survive the accident..but she is paralyzed from the waist down." Joe said 

"Oh my God.." James said as he broke down. 

Reign leaned over in Bucky's ear, "Is it wrong that I feel slightly guilty for what we were doing." She whispered 

"Don't baby doll we didn't know." He whispered

"She's been sedated, for now we need her body to heal " Joe said 

"Ok.." James said 

They all got to go visit her before they closed visiting hours. Bucky woke up with a cold the next morning. 

"I knew in the back of my mind last night was a mistake." She said 

"I don't care last night was incredible, and I love you baby.." he said as he kissed her. 

"I love you too." She said 

A few days later, Helen was visiting Ophelia while she was still under sedation. 

"Hey Joe where is my son?" Helen said 

"I haven't seen him today." Joe said 

James was in his private office, and had his new nurse riding him. He didn't care that she was 23 while he was pushing 50. Cara didn't mind either.
