Five months later,
Bucky dropped Payton when she started to become to clingy. He was now 15 and at party where he spotted a girl with fiery red hair and plump lips.
"Hi, I'm Bucky." He said
"Keely.." she said as he poured them some shots.
They began to do shots and dance together at the party, by the end of the night they were in his backseat making out and playing with each other. They agreed to date each other and exchange phone numbers.
Two weeks later, Bucky heard all his siblings downstairs his twin siblings had brought home their fiancees.
"What's going on?" He said
Then there was another knock at the door James went to answer it in walked Ophelia and her daughter Isabella.
"Guys I would like for you to meet my girlfriend Ophelia and her daughter Isabella." James said
"Girlfriend?" Bucky said confused
"That's what dad just said. Have you lost all brain cells due to all the weed you have been smoking." Ryan said
"Shut up Ryan leave me alone." Bucky said
"Yes son I've been seeing her for the last five months. We decided to let you all know and meet her. So no plans tonight James she's making us dinner." James said
"But I had plans.." Bucky said
"Cancel them.." James said
"How could you do this dad? How could you do this to mom?? First you sold the house and now you are cheating on her!" Bucky snapped and stormed off.
"Son..Buchanan get back here.." James yelled up the stairs then he heard Bucky slam the door.
"Dad just let him go.." Ashtyn said
"He's just being a baby.." Asher said
"Do you need help Ophelia in the kitchen?" Jana said
"Of course come on" Ophelia said as they All followed her.
Bucky smoked a big bowl of weed and went to sleep. James came upstairs to get him for supper to find asleep in his dark room and Airpods in. He made him a plate and put it in the microwave.
Ophelia came up behind him, "It will be ok James, we knew this would be a risk." She said
"Yeah..it just hurts. It honestly feels like he's just a shell that the day she does he died with her. I look back at pictures and home videos he use to be so happy full of life. Now he is just angry..and gone." He said
"You never get over losing a parent when you are young like that. He was close to her and was with her when she took her last breathe." Ophelia said
"Yeah..let's go eat. He said
They joined the other kids, and had dinner. Bucky are his plate around 2AM and then went back to sleep. The next morning he wouldn't even look at James or wanted breakfast.
James watched him leave with Sarah who took him to his last day of 8th grade, he sat on the stairs and cried.
