Four days later,
Bucky and Reign made the trip to maternal grandparents for the weekend. It was a quiet ride this time. Reign was asleep with her Airpods in.
He took one of her Airpods out, "Hey we are here." He said
"Oh..Ok." she said
"Hey..I really am sorry about earlier this week Reign. I feel like you are mad at me.." he said
"I'm not mad. I just it scared me." She said
"I'm sorry.." he said
He grabbed their stuff and they went inside..
"Buchanan.." Marleigh said as she hugged him.
"Gigi I have to breathe.." he said as she was hugging him so tight.
She seen Reign behind him, and mouthed "Thank you."
She nodded and smiled.
They all got settled, and had dinner. The next morning Marleigh enlisted the girls to help her set up while the boys were sent to the store. That night everyone changed into the pajamas.
When Bucky walked downstairs with Reign, he saw his siblings in the same ones.
"Surprise!" Reign said as she clapped
"Yeah.." he said
He saw his other cousins and their babies. His brother Liam who is the second older brother and his wife Mia came over
"Look little J even baby Tia matches." He said as he was the first out of all them to welcome a baby.
"Yeah." He said
Marleigh came out in hers, "Ok the babies are going to color while all my older grandchildren are going to be build gingerbread houses. So Anna-Marie you and Clara take them with you to the playroom you two are in charge." Marleigh said
"Yes ma'am Gigi.' Clara said
Bucky was dragged by Reign to the dining room, "Can I just go color instead." He said
"No then who would be my partner." She said
They found their spot, she sat in his lap. Soon the room was filled laughter and chatter. Bucky was quiet as he and Reign built their house. They won cause they finished before Anyone.
They decorated cookies, and made strings of popcorn. She was watching Bucky as chatted with his brothers and a few cousins. He walked over to her
"You are standing in a very dangerous place I would hate to have to punch a cousin.." he said
"What are you talking about?" She said
He used his eyes to point out what was above her head.
"Oh.." she said
"Relax Reign to be fair you have kissed me twice. And besides it's tradition." He said then he kissed her.
He slightly moaned, he pulled away but resting his forehead against hers. He bit his lip and moaned.
"Oh God I shouldn't of done that cause your lips are amazing." He said
She swallowed hard, "I need air.." she whispered as she walked away
A little later all the grandkids were having a movie marathon, Bucky and Reign were cuddled up under a blanket. They fell asleep by the fifth movie, the next morning Bucky woke up when she was moving around.
"Mmm Reign stop moving.." he said
She looked over her shoulder at him, "Sorry.." she said
"It's ok..I'm already having issues I didnt want them to be worse." He said as he tested his forehead against hers.
"Are you ok Reign? You have been weird since the kiss." He whispered
"I'm fine..I'm having to remember that we are just friends that I have to keep my feelings buried. I'm going to go get ready to go home." She said
"Reign..I.." he said as she climbed over him and tried to step on anyone else that fell asleep in the living room.
"I'm sorry.." he whispered
After they got back to Phoenix, she gave Bucky his Christmas gift which was a new bracelet and watch set.
"Thank you Reign." He said
"You're welcome." She said
He grabbed a box off his bookshelf , "Here this is for you." He said
She unwrapped the box and opened it to see a pair diamond encrusted bow earrings.
She smiled so big "Thank you B! I love them!" She said as she hugged him.
