Bucky followed her downstairs so they could eat breakfast. He kept staring at her since he sat across from her.
"Breakfast delicious James and Ophelia. And I'm sorry about the mess in the kitchen.." she said
"It's ok honey." James said
She took her plate and cup to the kitchen, Bucky wasn't to far behind her. When she got upstairs she got some clothes out of her bag.
"Reign..what happened? Why were you baking in the middle of the night?" He said
"Because I couldn't sleep. I don't want to talk about it anymore my head hurts my brain is a mess and I just want to go take a hot shower and be left alone." She said and left to use the guest room shower.
Bucky groaned as he went to find clothes for the day. Reign took a shower, and got herself ready for the day even though she had no plans to go out. She peaked in his room and heard his shower going so she laid her stuff in her bag and went downstairs.
"James is there like a room I can go to that's quiet...I need to make a phone call." She said to him as he helped Ophelia with dishes.
"Yes follow me." He said as he dried his hands.
She following him to the basement, and he turned on the lights.
"Whoa.." she said
"Yeah, I had it designed and fixed for little J in hopes that maybe it would help him move on but I don't think he's been in here but the one time I showed him when we moved in. It was a custom build, and I had his bedroom custom designed and this room. But as you can tell it hasn't helped." He said
"Yeah, thank you James." She said as she went over to the couch.
Once she was alone she called her therapist Dr Trudy Miller.
"Hello Trudy." She said
"I knew you would be calling me your dad called me early this morning." Trudy said
"Yeah.." Reign said
Meanwhile upstairs Bucky came downstairs, "Dad where is Reign?"
"Oh she is downstairs she said she needed a quiet place to make a call." James said
Bucky went downstairs but then stopped when he heard talking so he sat down on the stairs.
"Let's talk, why did you go out with him last night? And why didn't you tell me that you were re-connecting with him? Because now this has probably set you back." Trudy said
"IDK, he seems to be the only person in my life that can handle me and my personality..I have no friends..sometimes I wish I didn't beg my parents to put me in regular school and I stayed in homeschool." Reign said
"What about James the boy you called last night?" Trudy said
"We aren't friends he can't stand me. I'm sure the only reason he showed up last night was because his dad is friends with my parents and he didn't want to get in trouble." She said
Bucky looked down.
"Well I don't think so given what Xander looked like when he was brought in. But right now I need to focus on healing up. We will do face time appointments until your eye heals. Call me Monday around noon." Trudy said
"Yes ma'am." Reign said
"Talk to you soon.." Trudy said and hung up.
Bucky finished walking down the stairs, she turned to see him coming into the room.
