Two days later,
After school Bucky picked up Reign so they could go shopping. He saw her typing away on her phone.
"What are you doing?" He said
"Making a list.." she said
"Ok Santa Claus..am I on the naughty or nice list?" He said
"Ha-ha you would be on the naughty list sir. I'm making my list of what we need to go get and what I want to get you for Christmas." She said
"You don't have to get me anything." He said
"Yes I do you went all out for my birthday." She said
He rolled his eyes "Whatever Reign.." he said
They finally arrived at the mall, they picked up his tuxedos for the Christmas gala, and Jana's wedding. They also picked up her dresses, and went by the shoe store to get shoes. Reign also got new clutches and jewelry for each occasion.
"Ok that's all we had to get right?" He said
"No one more thing we need to go Macys, and if they don't have what I'm looking we will go to JCPenney's." She said
He groaned, "My arms are getting tired Reign. What on earth are you looking for?" He said
"Matching pajamas for the family Christmas party." She said
"Excuse me?" He said
"Yeah we are going. Jana already told me the theme and Marleigh already told me about it. It sounds like fun Buck so we are going." She said
"No we aren't.." he said
"Yes we are. Quit being difficult." She said
"No you don't be difficult..we are not going and that's final." He said
"Bucky this is your family..we are going even if I have to drive us to Tucson!." She said
"I'll be in the car you do whatever you want." He said
"Bucky.." she said
"Just don't.." he said as he walked off.
She blinked away tears and went the opposite direction. She found what she was looking for when she got to the car she found him smoking outside the car.
As they started to head home she put her Airpods in and went to sleep. Bucky saw her phone light up with a text.
"How did it go? Did you get the pajamas?"
He saw that it was from Jana, he unlocked her phone and saw her group text from his sisters. He put her phone back in the cupholder.
Once they got to her house, he helped her carry everything in.
"Reign Im sorry for yelling.." he said
"Yeah sure.." she said as she sat down.
He sat down beside her, and lifted her chin. "Reign why didn't you tell me that my sister's put you up to it.." he said
She looked at him confused, "I saw your text messages between them when you were sleeping.." he said
"They didn't want you to know." She said
He just shook his head, "None of them get it.." he said as he left.
