Two weeks later,
It was the night before the death anniversary of Winnie, Bucky went out to a biker bar after he and Reign did homework at her place. He did tequila shots while he sat at the bar when Essie Thomas walked up to him.
"Haven't seen you around in the last several months.." Essie said
Bucky smirked, "Been a little busy.." he said
"Where is Keely?" She said
"She's out of the picture.." he said
She began to put the moves on him and kiss him. "mmm Essie no I can't.." he whispered when Reign's face came to his mind.
"Oh come on Buck.." she whispered
"I can't Essie.." he said
"Alright then suit youraelf.." she said and walked off.
Bucky watches a band perform, and did more tequila shots before heading home. He stopped at a liquor store to get some for home.
The next morning when his school alarms went off he turned them off, and called Reign.
"Good morning.." she said
"Hey, um I wanted to let you know that I won't be at school today. It's a bad day for me I just want to be alone..so don't come over later.." he said
"Buck..we have plans.." she said
"Reign..I said I want to be alone.." he said and hung up.
Reign was a little hurt but she had to remember what the day was and decided she would check on him after school. By 330PM that afternoon, Bucky was drunk and high in his bedroom.
Reign went home, and changed hoping that Bucky would be in a better mood. She drove over to his house, James let in.
"Is he ok?" She said
"Why wouldn't he be?" James said
"He didn't go to school today. I mean I know what today is, but.." she said
"I wasn't aware he skipped.." James said as she went upstairs.
Bucky was blaring "Paralyzed" by NF, as she opened the door. The smell of weed and the liquor bottles everywhere stunned her, he was asleep on the couch. She turned off the music and took the bottle out of his hand making him up.
"What the hell? I told you not to come over here today!" He yelled
"Is this why you wanted to be alone!" She said as she started towards the bathroom.
"What are you doing give me that back and go home!" He said
She began to pour it down the drain, "No you aren't doing this James! This is not ok!" She said as she begins to pick up the empty ones.
"What I do is my business!" He said as he went to grab his keys.
"What do you think you are doing?" She said as she got them before he could.
"Going to get more since you dumped my last bottle." He said
"No you are not.." she said as she walked out with his empty bottles and keys.
"Give me my keys Reign!" He said as he followed her.
"No! You are drunk and high!" She said
James stepped out of the home office, "Excuse me?" He said then he saw his son and what was in Reign's hands.
