Three days later,
It was Winnie's birthday again, Bucky and his siblings wanted to celebrate together. So Reign spent most of the afternoon after school making their mom's favorite foods. She used the recipe book she found with Bucky in the storage unit that has all their mom's things.
Bucky was leaving football practice when Austin called him, he answered through his Bluetooth.
"Hey AJ what's up?" He said
"Haven't heard that in a long time." Austin said
Bucky let out laugh.
"The reason why I'm calling is because I didn't want to ruin dinner with this news." Austin said
"What do you mean?" He said
"Dad does have a new scrub nurse, a Cara Chang. According to her employee file she is 23 years old, graduated highschool two years early. I talked to Jenna dad's long time office manager you know she's been around since before Mom passed. She said that Cara spends a lot of time with him after hours..like he has to with Blair when mom was sick." Austin said
"I knew it.." he said
"Yeah..anyways I will see you soon." Austin said
"See you soon." He said and hung up.
When Bucky got home, he saw Reign in the kitchen.
"Oh well hello gorgeous. Looking so sexy." He said as he came up behind her.
"Oh so sweaty.." she said
"I know I know, I'm gonna go shower real quick. Everyone should be here soon. Um where is Ophelia? She didn't have to leave." He said
"Oh, her parents picked her up about an hour ago she said something about going to find your dad." She said
"Oh..that probably wasn't a good idea .." he said
"What do you mean?" She said
"Dad is cheating Austin called me on the way home. I will explain more later." He said and went to take a quick shower.
Once he was showered, and in regular clothes he came downstairs all of his siblings were in the dining room munching on the chips and salsa.
"Your girl is amazing she did all this.." Ryan said as he walked up to him.
Bucky saw the spread of food, a picture of Winnie and in memory quotes framed including one that said "You saw me take my first breathe, I saw you take your last breathe"
"Oh Reign.." he said as he saw the yellow roses.
She came over to him, "What do you think?" She said
"Baby I love you and I love this." He said
"Can we eat now?" Austin said
"Yes let's eat.." Bucky said
They all took seats, and began to make their plates. Jana stopped everyone
"Mama would haunt us if we didn't say grace.." Jana said
"She's right.." Liam said
They all joined hands, "Little J.." Austin said
"It was always you that got to say it." Ash said
Bucky looked down, "Dear God, thank you for this food we are about to eat thank you for the hands that prepared it, and we thank you for all the blessings, and we thank you for the time we had with mama. Amen" he said as tears fell.
"Thanks little J." Ryan said
"It has to be tweaked a little now.." Bucky said as they all began to eat.
Reign had made Honey Lime Chicken Enchiladas, street tacos, and a peanut butter pie.
"Oh I almost forgot.." Reign said after they all finished.
She gave his siblings each a gift, "Don't I get one?" Bucky said
"There is a reason why I didn't give you one..you will see in a minute." She said as everyone opened their gift.
Every mouth dropped, "Reign where did you find this?" Jana said
Bucky saw she made each of his siblings a copy of her homemade recipe book.
"We found it at the storage unit, Bucky gets to keep the original." She said
Meanwhile as they all started to point out favorites and stories, Ophelia wheeled herself into James' office. There was no one in the front of the office so she wheeled her self down the hall as her parents waited outside.
She heard noises coming from his private office, when she opened the door she saw James with his scrub pants at his ankles as he pounded into Cara who bent over his desk..
"Oh daddy fuck me harder.." Cara moaned
Ophelia just sat there stunned as James began to finish, he heard
"How could you do this to me?" Ophelia said
They both looked at the door way, "Ophelia? What are you doing here how did you get here?" James said
"My parents, I've been looking for you! How could you do this to me! I lost everything! My job! My daughter our twins! I needed you and you have been absent! Always working! I should of known this is what was going on the moment you started to disappear! We are done! I will be out of the house by the end of the week! You can have him sweetheart!" She said as she wheeled off angry after through her ring at him.
She didn't go home she went to her parents, James came home to talk to Ophelia to find the dining room table still a mess from dinner. He counted the plates as Winnie's picture stared at him.
Bucky Reign and his siblings went to the cemetery. While they were there Ophelia called Bucky. He put it on speaker phone,
"Hello." He said confused.
"Hey, I know that today is a special day and I don't want to ruin it but I left your dad. I will be moving out..he's been cheating." Ophelia said
"I know I saw the signs Ophelia I was hoping you would figure it out on your own." He said
"If you need help Ophelia moving or stuff I will be available" Austin said
"Me too." Liam said
"Thanks guys .I gotta go." She said and hung up.
"Happy Birthday mama.." Ryan said with a smile.
