The next day while the girls did some shopping Ryan helped Bucky set up a super romantic dinner on the beach.
"Do you think she's on to you yet?" Ryan said
"No. Reign is just happy to be here. She told me right before the girls trip that her being the baby means she is left alone alot. Her parents haven't been around much since she started driving..and she said they didn't really do family trips." He said
"Oh..that explains why she pushed you so much." Ryan said
"Yeah.." Bucky said
Later that night around sunset, Bucky and her went down to the beach, Bucky covered her eyes.
"Bucky you know I don't like surprises.." she said
"Baby you will love this one I promise.." he said as he fixed her dress.
"You look beautiful by the way." He said as they started to go towards the spot..
He removed his hand, she saw pink rose petals leading to a cozy little spot.
"Bucky.." she whispered as they walked.
They shared dinner, he fed her pink chocolate covered strawberries.
"There is a reason I did this..he whispered
"There is.." she said
He made them both stand up, he took her hands as he smiled at her.
"Reign Carsyn, I love you and I never thought I would say those words to anyone after my mom died. But in the past year I have realized that I could love someone..and that someone is you. We had a rocky start but I wouldn't trade our story for the world. You brought light back into my world, and painted colors back into my world. You have made me see that joy and happiness..and I want to spend forever with you. I know it's fast but baby I love you, and you make me fall in love with you every day. So Reign Carsyn Martinez will you marry me?" He said as he dropped to one knee and opened the box to reveal a pink sapphire and diamond ring.
She gasped, "James..oh my gosh yes! Yes! Yes!" She said as she wiped tears.
He slid the ring on her finger, she leaned down and kissed him. He stood up and picked her up.
"I love you James Buchanan.." she said
"I love you baby doll." He said
Mallory and Ryan came out of hiding, Reign saw Mallory's camera as Ryan came over with champagne glasses and a bottle of pink champagne.
"Let's celebrate." He said as he popped the bottle.
"You are loving that you turned 21 a few weeks ago." Bucky said
"Oh yeah baby J you know it." Ryan said as they did a toast and clinked glasses.
That night Bucky and Reign made love till they were dripping in sweat.
