The next morning, everyone woke up to Helen making breakfast.
"Where is little J and Reign?" Helen said
"I'm right here.." Bucky said as they came in last.
Helen smiled, "What?" He said
"Nothing, I was just thinking that you have always been the last one to be found cause you would be behind Austin or under a table playing with your cars with Ryan." Helen said
"Or the quietest of the bunch don't forget that one." James Sr said as he poured orange juice into glasses.
Bucky looked down, "That's funny I'm the opposite. Daddy said I'm the loudest and the easiest one to find in my bunch." Reign said
"That's because as your daddy put it the day you were born you came out talking and haven't stopped, and you love to be center of attention. Your mama says it's all the sparkle he buys you." James said
Reign giggled, "I like sparkly things.." Reign said
"Then why do you keep me around.." Bucky said
"I told you, I think you are cute broody but cute." Reign said
Bucky just rolled his eyes as they went to sit down with their plates. They all enjoyed breakfast together at the big dining room table. After everyone helped clean up after breakfast they all got dressed to go outside.
The girls watched as the boys raced on the snowmobiles.
"Bucky will you take me for a ride on that.." she said with puppy dog eyes.
"Reign...I.." he said
"Little J its ok it's not like the motorcycle.." Liam said
"Fine.." he said as he helped her put on the gear and took her around their path.
When they returned to the cabin the others were having a snowball fight, so they joined in on the fight. They went for a hike in the mountains behind their cabin. She and Bucky sat down once they got to the top.
"You are going to be so sick when we get back.." she said
"Shut up.." he said as he pulled her closer in between his legs.
"Are you ok?" She said
"The last time I came here..was right before they told us Mom was sick. She was happy..we had the best time.." he said
Reign remembered what Helen and Marleigh told her about how he knew that something was wrong before they told anyone cause he overheard a conversation.
"Did you not come here after?" She said
"No I stayed with Gigi or I stayed at home alone..I didn't want to be here, I hate it here I use to love it here but now I just hate it.." he said
She looked down. "We should head back.." he said as he helped her up.
They headed back to the cabin, and got cozied up by the fire place in their room watching movies, and drinking hot chocolate under a blanket.
