Chapter sixteen

"Live while we're young."

Having been carried down to the beach, Conrad soon threw Diana down on the floor next to Steven and Shayla, as the two of them along with Gigi and Nicole laughed, Conrad turned around and walked toward his chair, sitting down next to Nicole, Belly soon came walking down "may I present. The Belly special?" she asked, putting the blender down onto the table "ooh, very nice." Gigi shared "those look awesome." Nicole told her "well, technically it's not a Belly special seeing, as me, Jeremiah and Conrad all made it with her as well." Diana shared, as they all laughed.

"Uh, we saved you the inflatable unicorn." Gigi shared "well, thank you." Belly told her, walking over to it and when she did, Diana noticed Jeremiah walking up with Cam as her eyes went wide "hey, guys. Hey. Check out who I found. It's Cam Cameron." Jeremiah shared "Cam!" many people voiced, as Conrad held a glass up to Cam "oh, I'm good, man. Thank you, I don't drink." Cam shared "yes, that's right. More for me." Conrad shared, drinking it, Jeremiah dabbed up Steven "hey, Jere." Shayla told him "hey, Shayla." Jeremiah told her, as he sat down next to Diana.

"What is he doing here?" Diana asked him, as Jeremiah shrugged "I don't know. He showed up. Thought I'd bring him down here but don't worry, I got your back, princess." he shared, putting his arm around her, the two missing how Gigi glared at them, Cam sat next to Belly "what is that?" he asked her "it's pomegranate margarita." Belly shared, as Conrad was chugging his "it's not a race, Con." Nicole informed him "yeah, save some for the rest of us, please." Jeremiah shared.

As Belly laughed, Diana furrowed her brows "but what if we made it a race? I mean that's the point of every drinking game, right?" she asked "you want to play a drinking game?" Gigi asked her "it beats out sitting here and just staring at each other on the fourth of July while everyone else is having fun! I mean if anyone has any other ideas, I'm all ears." Diana shared, laughing, as Jeremiah nodded "I think a drinking game is a great idea." he shared "fuck it." Conrad said "yeah, let's do it." Nicole told them, as they all cheered.

Where they all were then sitting around a corn hole, as they all were flicking coins into the cup in the middle, Diana and Jeremiah sat across from each other, as Jeremiah flicked his and got it in "oh! I got it in!" Jeremiah voiced, pointing at her, Diana pointed at him "drink!" the two voiced, as they grabbed their cups and stared at each other as they drank from them, then Conrad flicked it in and as he did, him and Steven had to drink, where as Gigi flicked it in, she then pointed at Jeremiah "Jeremiah, drink." he told her "no!" Jeremiah voiced, as Belly flicked it in "Shayla. Drink up." she told her "what?" Shayla asked, drinking as she laughed.

Nicole then flicked it in "oh, hey, Gigi, drink." Jeremiah told her as he pointed at her "no!" Gigi voiced, shaking her head, she drank her's "she was going in there." Shayla shared, drinking and so was Steven, where the game was going so fast that they all were practically drinking at the same time, where Diana got it in, clapping her hands together "yes!" she voiced, pointing at Jeremiah, she smiled at him, as Jeremiah smiled back at her, drinking "oh, drink!" Steven voiced, pointing at Conrad.

Then the guys were then playing a game of corn hole where they were throwing the bean bags into the holes, as Belly was pouring another drink, Diana was dancing with Gigi, Nicole and Shayla "yay! Here we go." Belly told them, holding out a cup, Gigi took it "wait, wait, wait. That's a new.." Shayla shared, picking up a bottle of liquor she began pouring it into the pitcher, as they all laughed, Diana and Nicole and Shayla then filled their cups again, as they all continued dancing around, Belly then joined them, as Diana and her linked arms, spinning around, the two laughed.

They all then soon packed up their stuff and began walking up to the house, where Belly and Cam were leading the way followed by Jeremiah, Diana and Conrad where the three of them were laughing, as Gigi, Steven and Shayla followed up behind them.

Having made it back up, Conrad wanted to play football with Jeremiah while the girls all headed down to the dock to chat, where Cam and Steven were with them, where Shayla insisted on braiding Diana's hair, to where it was now out of it's bun and separated to be put into two braids, where the left side was almost done "oh, okay, but did you know that she was one of the last people to visit Lindsay Lohan's beach club in Mykonos before it closed?" Gigi asked "are you serious?" Shayla asked her "mm-hmm." Gigi told her "oh, my god, I'd die for Lindsey. Ugh, she's a queen." Shayla shared.

"Ibiza is superior, though." Nicole shared "as if." Shayla told her, and it was conversations like these that automatically put Diana, Belly and Steven out of the equation "you don't agree?" Nicole asked "no." Shayla told her, as she leaned over looking at Diana and Steven "back me up." she told them, as Diana chuckled "yes, no, I..yes, I agree." Steven shared "he's lost." Gigi mentioned "yes, no, yes, no I agree." Nicole mentioned "shut up." Shayla told her "he doesn't know what he's talking about. And neither does his sister." Gigi shared "they know what they're talking about. They're on my side." Shayla shared, tying off the braid on the left side, as she then started on the one on the right.

Some time had passed, as Diana had left the girls having headed back up to the house, she knew Conrad and Jeremiah would be down digging the clam pit, as she walked down to the beach, she found Conrad digging by himself, as Jeremiah ran up behind her, trying to put grass on her "no!" Diana voiced, quickly moving out of the way, she turned running away from him and as she did, Jeremiah chased her with it "come on!" he voiced "stay away from me!" Diana voiced, running behind Conrad, Conrad chuckled "can you two stop?" he asked.

"Can you? I mean can you be nice to dad for one day? Seriously he's trying." Jeremiah shared, as Conrad stopped digging, looking at him 'good for him." he told him, going back to digging, Jeremiah threw the dirt at him, but as he did, Conrad dropped the shovel and grabbed Diana, putting her in front of him, it got thrown at her instead, as her jaw dropped, Conrad started chuckling, Diana shoved him off of her "that was meant for you!" Jeremiah voiced, throwing it at him again, getting him with it this time.

Diana then started laughing, and as she did, Conrad looked to Jeremiah "well.." he told him, as he wiped some of it off of him and flung it at him, getting him in the face with it, Diana laughed again, as Jeremiah and Conrad turned to her, Diana shook her head "no. No. No." she told them, turning and running off and as she did, Jeremiah and Conrad ran after her, where Conrad grabbed her and as he did, Jeremiah flung dirt at her, as Diana wiped it off her face and flung it back at him, all three of them were laughing.
