033. WE WE'RE FLYIN, BUT WE'D NEVER GET FAR

Chapter thirty three

"We we're flyin, but we'd never get far."

Back in Pennsylvania, Steven and Belly had gotten tired of Diana not answering them, as they went to Taylor's house, as they walked up to the door, Steven knocked and as he did, the two stood there, seeing Taylor walk out as she stood behind the screen, seeing them, she opened the screen door and stepped out "we need to talk to our sister. Now." Steven shared "she's not here with now. She just went to the store for swedish fish" Taylor shared "so, earlier, she was getting auntie anne's and now she's getting twix?" Steven asked.

As Belly scoffed "no! This is what Taylor and Diana do when they've come up with a lie! When Diana lies her voice get's really high but when Taylor lies all she can come up with is excuses about food!" she voiced, looking to Taylor "where is she? Because her text aren't going through anymore and neither are phone calls." she shared "yea and we can't find her location either." Steven shared "I'll tell you but only because I am having the same problem and I'm kind of starting to worry about her." Taylor shared "worry about her? Why would you be worried?" Steven asked, furrowing his brows.

"Because she's with Jeremiah." Taylor told them "what!" Belly voiced "she drunk dialed him last night, Jeremiah asked her to come to Brown with him to look for Conrad, she drunkenly said yes and by the time I found that out she was already on bus and that's the last thing I heard from her and seeing as she's blocking us all out, the only way to find out if she's still there is to go to the red kingdom." Taylor shared, as Steven furrowed his brows "what's the red kingdom?" he asked, as Taylor huffed "it's a bunch of Diana's hacker friends. It used to be the hive but then people started calling Diana the queen of hearts so they changed the name." Belly shared "so, how do we find this red kingdom?" Steven asked, as Taylor raised her brows.

Steven soon had driven them to someone's house, the three of them got out of the car and instead of walking to the front door, Taylor and Belly began walking around to the back, as Steven furrowed his brows "aren't we gonna get in trouble for sneaking around on somebodies property? Because if you don't recall, I'm supposed to be going to Princeton and I don't think they're gonna exactly except someone with a record." he shared, as Taylor scoffed "oh would you shut up." she shared.

As the three turned the corner, a shed was seen in the back with a red door and had a pink heart on it, Belly motioned toward's it "see? It's right there." she shared, as her and Taylor began walking forward, Steven followed them "so when Diana's not playing volleyball she spends her time in some random kids backyard in a shed?" he asked, as Taylor knocked on the door, the heart part of the door opened, as a red glowing heart could be seen through it "password?" a girl asked "Veronica, it's us, Belly and Taylor." Belly told her "that's not the password." Veronica told them, shutting the heart

And as she did, Taylor and Belly rolled their eyes "there's a password for a shed?" Steven asked, as Taylor looked to Steven "yeah but I never can remember it and I'm pretty sure she changed it since the breakup." she shared "so how do we get in?" Belly asked, as Steven's eyes went wide "I remember it all too well." he said, and when he did, the sound of the door opening could be heard, as Belly and Taylor looked at Steven with furrowed brows, Steven shrugged "what she's had that song on repeat." he shared.

As the door fully opened, revealing Veronica, who Diana had met while she was still in middle school, where her hair always seemed to be changing colors where right now, it was dyed light pink, as she wore a glowing red heart necklace paired with black overalls with a dark pink shirt underneath it "you may enter." she told them, stepping out of the way and as she did, Belly, Taylor and Steven walked in and as they did, their eyes went wide, seeing there was a red couch and a pink bean bag chair in there, along with a pink and red rug on the floor with hearts all over it, as the walls had some spray paint artwork on it of broken hearts, along with some Taylor Swift posters.

Where as they walked in further there was a huge mirror on the wall that had words written on it in lipstick from all the different people Diana had helped since she started her little side business "she really helped this many people?" Steven asked, as Veronica chuckled "well you don't get a nickname like queen of hearts for nothing. Although she's been a little more aggressive since her breakup." she shared, as Taylor turned to her "yes that's exactly what we came to talk to you about." she shared, as Veronica turned to her "why?" she asked, as Belly turned to her "because my sister's blocked us all from finding out where she is." she shared.

"No. I did that!" Veronica voiced, as Taylor furrowed her brows "what? Why?" she asked "because Diana texted me this morning that she was getting on a bus and needed people to not know where she was going to block everyone. I took me a while but I did it." Veronica shared, as Steven turned to her "then undo it!" he voiced "no. That would be betraying Diana's trust and I don't do that." Veronica shared, as Taylor huffed, stepping towards her, she put her hands on her shoulders "Veronica, Diana is with her ex boyfriend right now and he broke her heart. We all just wanna make sure we find her before she makes the mistake of getting back together with him but we can't do that if we don't know where she is." she shared.

"Okay. Okay." Veronica told her, turning around, she sat down in her desk chair which was behind Diana's where as Belly looked at it, she saw a punch of pictures in the garbage that were cut up and thrown away, seeing they were pictures of her and Jeremiah, having not known that Diana was taking the breakup so hard "it's probably gonna take me sometime to unblock your calls and texts but I could tell you all what her location is." Veronica shared, as Steven sighed "yes please." he told her, as he looked to Diana's desk, seeing the bowl of candy "ooh." he said, reaching over and digging through it.

"Steven, what are you doing?" Taylor asked him, with furrowed brows, as Steven looked to her "eating her candy." he shared "that's usually for people crying or for people who are stressed out." Veronica informed him "well, I am stressed out. My baby sister ran off with the guy who broke her heart." Steven shared "very getaway car by Taylor Swift of her." Veronica shared, as she spun around in her seat, waiting for the computer to beep, Taylor walked up to Steven, taking the bowl of candy away from him "I wasn't done!" Steven voiced, chewing a starburst.

Taylor took a red lollipop from the bowl, as she put it down on Veronica's desk "what's that blinking thing?" she asked, unwrapping her lollipop, she pointed it at the computer, as Veronica spun back around "it's triangulating her location." she shared, and as she did, the computer beeped, she grabbed the mouse "which happens to be cousins beach." she shared, and as she did, Taylor, Steven and Belly looked at each other, Steven began walking toward's the door and as he did, Belly followed after him.

And as she did, Taylor smiled at Veronica "thank you." she told her, as she walked away from the desk, going to follow Steven and Belly out, but as she did, she stopped and looked back at Veronica "get our phones back online!" she voiced "yes, ma'am." Veronica told her, as Taylor then stepped out of the shed, shutting the door behind her.
