Chapter 39 - Wish

We're currently having dance practice and I felt so distracted because my mind just kept thinking about the white tulips.

Oh gosh

I can't really believe it but I must not jump into conclusions first. She has a damn husband for Peter's sake. I'm well aware na I'm overthinking during this dance practice, as a result, it's affecting my performance. Nawawala angas ko ano ba.

Minsan ay nakakalimutan ko ang steps tapos minsan naman ay nauuna ako sa beat. Dang it. I could see the other members were getting tired already for the fact that they're all soaking with sweat but I just keep on saying sorry to them.

"Z, focus okay? you can do this." Louise still cheered me up kahit ilang beses na akong nagkamali sa pagkabisa ng steps ngayong araw.

I nodded at her and at the same time I felt guilty.

Kaya naman huminga ako nang malalim at sinubukang iwaksi muna ang lahat ng iniisip. Gusto ko na rin kasing umuwi, kanina pa kami nagp-practice ng sayaw ngunit hindi kami matapos tapos dahil kanina pa ko nagkakamali.

Yashey tapped my shoulder twice so I tapped her shoulder back.

God knows how much I love them.

And after many times of trying ay na-perfect na rin namin ang choreo. Louise did a great job guiding me patiently. I must be grateful na ang haba ng pasensya niya today because if hindi jusko paktay na talaga.

Pagod akong nahiga sa floor ng dance room katabi si Lavender. Isa rin 'to sa kanina pa nagrereklamo na pagod na raw siya.

"Teh Z, it's so tiring no? pa-ice cream ka naman." binaling nito ang ulo sa side ko.

Hinihingal ko rin siyang tinignan pabalik. "Yeah, I'm sorry kanina if I couldn't keep up."

"Shush, ate. It's fine, really. Everybody makes mistakes naman."

Her words touched my heart. Hay.

Bumangon ako at umupo sa tapat niya. "What flavor d'you? my treat."

"Ha! that's my ate talaga. Everybody, papa-ice cream daw si master Z!"

"Hey! ang sabi mo ikaw lang???!" I was taken a back at first but then I remembered how I acted kanina. Okay. I immediately accepted din agad. "I have a better plan pala, girls."

They all stopped on wiping their pawis and focused on me.

"How about let's hangout on my place? it's all on me! don't worry." I smiled widely like as if it's a very genius idea.

"Sure sure!"

"I love the idea!"

"Pasabay nalang, tinatamad ako magdrive hehe."

"Alright then, I guess I'll go ahead muna?" I said to them and stood up.

"Huy, sabay na ko sayo." Ivelle went to get her things at talagang nagmadali, kala mo naman iiwan ko.

Bahagya pa akong napatawa sa inasal niya. Me and the other girls chitchat for a while before I decided na mauna na talaga sa unit ofc with Ivelle.

Nang makarating sa unit ko ay pinauna kong magshower ang babaeng kasama ko habang ako nag-order muna ng kakainin naming pito pagtapos ay inabala ko muna sa panunuod ang sarili habang naghihintay na matapos si Ivelle.

Hindi naman siya nagtagal dahil lumabas din agad siya ng banyo kaya sumunod na ako. Hindi ko na kinekeribels ang lagkit sa pakiramdam ng pawis.

After taking a cold bath I spotted Ivelle on the kitchen munching some chips.
