"Ma'am, ano ba, let me go nga!"

Kanina pa ko nagpupumiglas pero ayaw niya talaga akong tantanan hanggang sa makaabot nalang kami sa kwarto ko. After locking the door she confidently stood in front of me.

"There, now we're good to talk."

Inis ko siyang tinitigan pero tinaasan lang niya ako ng kilay.

Babaeng 'to talaga. Kahit kailan talaga! argh!

"Sit on your bed. Don't ever think of running away." utos niya at naglakad papunta sa gaming chair ko.

I make a face after she turns her back.

Ganon ganon nalang 'yon?! pesteng halik na 'yan. Mukbang na ata 'yon e!

I sat on the edge of the bed while she pulled the gaming chair to face me. With crossed legs, Miss Red is now giving me an intense gaze.

"Let's talk about the kiss later but for now I want you to look at this." she then handed me her phone which I hesitantly reached at first.

Upon examining the picture that is currently flashed on the screen, I recognized that it was a marriage contract.. of us.

Napatakip ako ng bibig at nanlalaki ang mga matang tinignan ang babaeng kaharap ko.

"M-maam- h-how? I-I mean.. h-hindi.. h-hindi ako 'to. You must've mistaken me. No. There's no way.." binalik ko ang phone na hawak sabay lunok ng sariling laway.

Nagsisimula ng kabahan ang buong pagkatao ko habang siya ang kalmado lang ng expression ng mukha niya.

"That marriage contract can only be official and legal once you turn eighteen. I suppose, you're now beyond that age so now we're married." she started to explain pero nakukulangan pa rin ako.

It doesn't make any sense! the fuck.

"Your mom and my mom are best friends, remember?" I nodded unconsciously. "They arranged it for us. It's a fixed marriage."

"And you literally agreed?!"

"As if I had a choice, didn't I?" she almost rolled her eyes like that was the stupidiest thing she ever heard tonight.

"You don't, sure, yet you still didn't do anything to stop it man lang?!" reklamo ko sakaniya.

Pinagsiklop ko ang dalawa kong palad dahil sa nararamdaman kong pawis na lumalabas mula rito.

"We have to do something. I'll go for divorce." I suggested instead, hoping.

The only thing I can think of right now is my career. Paano na 'to? hindi, I can't lose whatever I have right now. Dugo at pawis ang puhunan ko ron!

"There's no divorce in this shitty country, may I remind you, superstar." another irritable response from her.

"Annulment, ma'am." that was the last choice.
