DALTON'S POV
I grunted and throw the ball with my full force.
Eron fake a shivered while laughing hard.
I rolled my eyes and let myself fall on the cement floor of the gym. I lifted the hem of my jersey to swipe the sweat forming in my face and neck but I quickly lowered it when I remembered that we were not the only people in the gym.
“I’m out.”
I jogged towards our locker to change. His probably waiting outside, ayokong mahuli, mahirap manuyo.
“Sorry for waiting. Nag shower pa ako,” paumanhin ko at humalik sa pisngi niya.
His lips pursed. “Let's go, sa condo ko muna. May tatapusin akong plates.”
I nod and follow him.
We've been in relationship for almost three years and counting. We're both in our first year of college.
We still have a time for each other.
“What do you want to eat?” I asked while pulling my shirt off.
“Kahit ano. You decide,”
This is our routine everyday.
“What's your plan? your family wants you to take over the company,”
He shrugged and took a spoon to start digging on his food. “Wala. Bahala sila, itutuloy ko yung akin.”
“Payag ba sila sa desisyon mo?”
He snorted and swallow the food inside his mouth before answering. “Hindi rin naman nila ako mapipigilan.”
“And your Dad? What did he say?” I asked curiously.
He shrugged.
He grew up with his step mother who is so good to him not unlike his biological mother who despises him for being a part of LBTQ. Auntie Sandra is much more like a mother towards Zillex than Auntie Elodie. But she's just unlucky for having Zillex's asshole father, who's going to every different woman to satisfy his disgusting needs.
I don't why Auntie Sandra still has the guts to maintain their married life after the countless cheating of that bastard. But she's not a typical woman we know, she is a badass and a happy go lucky kind of woman, weird right? And she is still not okay with me.
She peacefully died after a long struggle to live for Zillex. She was scared of leaving Zillex alone, but I assured her that I would take care of her son. No matter what happens, I will never leave Zillex's side.
