After school, I looked at my phone and decided to text Shoto. By now I did had his phone number and we were texting each other every now and then as well. Not that much but it was quite a bit. Well anyways, I took my phone out because I needed some normalness which made me actually text him.
Do you have some time? --Me
I do, why? What's up? --Shoto
Wanna meat up? --Me
Sure. --Shoto
Usual place? --Me
100% or do you need something sweeter? --Shoto
Why would I need that? --Me
Because no one text do you have time and then do you wanna meat up, if there wouldn't be something that you really need to talk about. --Shoto

I am right and we both know it. --Shoto

I am on my way there. --Shoto
I didn't answer him after this. Instead I decided to speed walk there. There was so much I wanted to talk with him about but there was just one thing I really could talk about. After all I couldn't tell him that my father was a villain and that my mom was dating a hero now. I can't tell him that Stain was my mentor too. BUT! I could tell him about the crazy thing happening today like the note and my joke which I took a bit to far.
There was just this feeling that I had to tell him about this.
It felt wrong to not tell him.
He was even being so fair as to tell me some of the stuff happening to him and his brother or how he did a prank and then hid it from everyone because he knew in how much trouble he would get. They never found out it was him, they thought it was his second older brother.
Anyways, I got to the cafe but didn't manage to get earlier than Sho. For some reason he was already sitting at our table with a cake and some boba waiting for me. This was the comfy food I needed right now. How he knew that? Who knows.
Me: Hi.
Shoto: Hi....
Me: Thanks.. and did you wait long?
Shoto: No, enjoy, you look as if you need this.
Me: I do.
Shoto: So what happened?
Me: I got a note at my table today.
Shoto: A note?
Me: A suicide baiting note.
Shoto: Nooooo.... who would do something like that?
Me: Enough people in my class would do that.
Shoto: Why? You are the loveliest person I know that exists. Like seriously, you think about others and not yourself and don't tell me that ain't true because you paid my grandmother her food while she is basically a rich woman herself. You also helped my mom out a couple of times by now too.
Me: What was I supposed to do when they actually need some help while cooking or cleaning up the table? You should help as well, you know.
Shoto: No, they want you not me.
Me: Arg..... let's leave that.
Shoto: Fine with me. So you found that note and then?
Me: Well, I tried to confront the people and guess what happened?
Shoto: They didn't confess. Why would they? I mean they wouldn't be as stupid as to leave a note and then get the punishment. If no one knows about it then it was no one.
Me: Problem is that the class knew who it was and the teacher ignored it. The teacher even made it sound as if I was making an elephent out of it.
Shoto: You are a student at Alderia right?
Me: Yeah, why?
Shoto: Just asking.
Me: Uhu... well anyways, you know what I did next?
Shoto: What?
Me: The teacher told me that the note said to kill myself and I wouldn't be as stupid to follow it because it is the same principal as if people tell me to jump out the window or off a bridge and me doing it. It makes literally no sense at all. They are two different things!
Shoto: I understand you. Totally, so what happened next. You didn't actually get scolded for talking back right?
Me: No, well, they didn't had enough time because I opened the window and climbed on the-
Shoto: You did not!
Me: I did.
Shoto: Even...
Me: Yeah.....
Shoto: ARE YOU INSANE?!
He rais his voice for the first time and looked at me as if I was the one who was at fault here. Nah-ah! I wouldn't take that. It was so not my fault. They baited me to do it and I wanted to give them a taste of their own medicine.
Me: SH!
Shoto: Sorry.
Me: I did but my father Yagi, you know... he caught me.
Shoto: Good timing.
Me: Yeah.
Shoto: Why was he there?
Me: Some papers to get me into UA.
Shoto: You better be there but more importantly, how do you feel right now?
Me: Me?
Shoto: Yeah, you jumped after all!
Me: I am okay. I didn't hit the ground and even then, my quirk would heal me and we both know this.
Shoto: But it would pain me to see or hear about that.
Me: Well, it happened al-
Shoto: It did not!
Me: Yeah but that is another story.
Shoto: Did you on your own?
Me: No, I am not suicidal.
Shoto: So you got pushed then?
Me: Not really, someone scared me.
Shoto: Same same but different. It's their fault and as your best friend, I need names.
Me: Are you taking this a bit too far, right now?
Shoto: I don't think so.
Me: I do... now drink your iced frape and calm down a bit. I can't believe you are even more worked up than me and you are the stoic calm one from us.
Shoto: You just told me you jumped and you want me to stay calm?
Me: Touche!
We both decided to continue focusing on our drinks and our desert because it was the only thing that would probably keep us from planing murder or who knows what. His mind was a mystery to me but he was a Todoroki so it was kinda in their blood.
Little did I know at this point that there was someone in this cafe who very much was listening into our conversation.
