The next day in the morning I was together with All Might alone since my mom just left without food. She said some of her coworkers wanted to meet up in the morning and we all agreed to actually give her some time for herself where she can also spend with friends. Not as if she had a lot of them anyways.
Yagi: I've already heard about what you did at the entrance exam and I am proud of you.
Me: How did you know?
Yagi: I will be a teacher at UA this year.
Me: Cool. Hero course, right?
Yagi: Yes but it is also planned that I shall teach other classes about ethics.
Me: You and ethics?
Yagi: Yes.
Me: Who came up with the idea?
Yagi: Hound Dog.
Me: Ohhh.....
Yagi: And it is important to know the difference between a hero, a vigilante and a villain and when you are on the wrong path.
Me: Why? I thought vigilante's are on a morally grey path and heroes well obviously need to play be the rule book and villains not.
Yagi: You are right there but it is dangerous to be a vigilante.
Me: Cause hunted by both or?
Yagi: Yes but also because a lot of them are young people.
Me: Really?
Yagi: Yes.
He started to explain to me how a lot of the vigilante's out there were only up to 25 years old with a lot of them being 18 or something. It was a statistic he got by a friend who was a detective. He also told me that said friend has a good relationship with vigilante's and he most of the times would let them off with a warning. Except if they really do something that would either put them or their environment aka other people in danger. I didn't really undrestand the difference between people who are bystanders and villains cause they are counted equaly.
Anyways, we both were together for a bit until I got a call from Sho and then headed out to meet that CandyCane. Of course we meet up once again at the cafe and he had this huge grin in his face. It could only mean one thing... he already knew about the whole physical exam thing.
Shoto: You got the top score! Congrats.
Me: Not even a hello?
Shoto: Of course, come here!
I did come over to him so he could hug me but his hug was quite tight and not only that but he let his head rest on my shoulder for a bit. His head was quit nuzzled against my neck.
Shoto: I am so happy you are alright.
Me: Why shouldn't I be?
Shoto: I saw the Dandelion as well as that other idiot, Hitoshi at the written exam and thought they might be with you in the same city sectorn. I was in a different one but even I could tell something was wrong.
Me: Don't worry, no one can actually hurt me.
Shoto: That's not true.
Me: Huh?
Shoto: You can still be hurt emotionally.
He had a point. I didn't think about that at all. However I also had quite the thick skin too. So people could talk about me behind my back however they wanted and I wouldn't care that much.
Shoto: Sit, please, I ordered us our usual.
Me: Thank you.
It took a bit for him to get away from me and then sit at the oposit seat while looking at me. He definitely was checking me up and I could assure him that I was fine. I really was. We knew each other for a while now and sometimes we would train together. I would always beat him, no matter how hard he was trying. Then again, he was actually giving in and letting me win.
Me: I am in the gen ed course. So we both are gonna be at UA! That's amazing.
Shoto: Yes, I can see you more often now.
Me: Mh. Any goal you have for UA?
Shoto: Beat the shit out of two certain Chihuahuas.
Me: That's animal abuse.
Shoto: Don't worry, no one will see it and they don't even count as animals.
Me: You are not talking about who I think you are?
Shoto: No.......
Me: You so are.
Shoto: Alright, maybe.
Me: You shouldn't do that for my sake.
Shoto: I still will and you know that.
Me: I do so don't kill them or get yourself in jail.
Shoto: Deal.
Me: Also no expulsion cause what am I supposed to do without you in UA?! It's gonna be boring as hell.
Shoto: I would never leave my Cotton Candy alone.
To be fair, I didn't listen to the last bit he said because our cake just came delivered on the table and our drinks as well. I could definitely need some sweets right now. Especially while I felt quite happy from finally starting to be a vigilante. Of course I knew I couldn't tell Sho about it, no matter how much I wanted it. Better keep him safe. His father and brother is a hero but still.... I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I would have gotten him in troubles.
After a while of us focusing on our cake, we finally started to talk about the hero exam and how we felt about it. No surprise, I found it boring and I was really exiting for the physical one since I was piloting the zero pointer. As for Shoto... he froze half of the city sector he got in. Quite a fiest as well. I definitely was impressed to hear that. He earned his spot in the hero course, that much was for sure.
