In the dimly lit hideout of the League of Villains, the atmosphere was tense. Shigaraki paced back and forth, his agitation evident in the erratic tapping of his fingers against his thigh. Was it annoyance or was it impatience that drive him to this behaviour? Who knows. Perhapse he was also sick and tired of waiting for a certain event to happen.
Anyways his mind was consumed with a singular thought, one that had been gnawing at him for weeks: bringing Izuku Midoriya into the League after seeing what he did with that Robots at the entrance exam.
Shigaraki: I don't understand why you keep saying no, Master! Izu would be a perfect addition to our cause. His potential, his Quirk... he's wasted on those so-called heroes.
All For One, seated in his imposing chair, watched his protégé with a mixture of patience and sternness. Despite his blindness, his presence was as intimidating as ever. He allowed Shigaraki to vent his frustrations, knowing that this conversation was inevitable and going on for quite a long time as well. This was the sole reason why he was at the hide out and not somewhere else.
All For One: Tomura, you need to understand that Izuku is not someone who should be dragged into our conflicts.
Shigaraki stopped pacing and turned to face his mentor, his expression a mix of confusion and anger. The man could have used his quirk at this point. He was sick and tired of hearing the same argument over and over again. Izuku was just too perfect and his Master's son. He was destined to be together with him. That was something Shigaraki felt deep in his bones.
Shigaraki: But why? He's strong, he's determined, and he has a reason to hate the current system. He's just like us!
All For One: Izuku is indeed strong and determined, but he is not like us. He is my son, Tomura. And as his father, it is my duty to protect him from this life of chaos and violence.
Shigaraki: BUT-
All For One: No buts! Izuku deserves a chance at a normal life, free from the violence, the blood and the pain we carry.
Shigaraki's anger began to dissipate, replaced by a mixture of resentment and reluctant understanding. He of course wouldn't wish such a life to no normal person. Although he knew that Izuku was their masters son, he also knew that the kid was training together with Stain for somrethin.
Shigaraki: But he's already involved, Master. He's training with Stain, a hero killer too! How can you expect me to just ignore that? We are much better than that idiot!
All For One: A warning is a warning. Do not mess with this. Do not ignore my words, Tomura. Instead, you will protect him in your own way. You will act as his supporter, his protector from the shadows. Be the older brother he needs, not the enemy he must fight.
Shigaraki's hands twitched, his mind reeling from the revelation and the command. He struggled to reconcile his feelings, the urge to recruit Izuku clashing with his newfound understanding of his master's protectiveness. Of course he could tell why his master thought this way. He was watching over the kid for a bit and he knew that there was such a potential. Then again it would have been perfect to have a spy at UA, especially a hero who would turn to become a villain... someone in the hero course.
Izuku was just too perfect for this role. He wouldn't only help them out, he would become their master mind and their master's son who was their new leader. Shigaraki didn't realize it yet but he was ready to give up his position to Izuku to be there for him and watch over the kid.
Shigaraki: So, you want me to... keep him safe?
All For One: Yes. Keep him safe, ensure he does not fall into harm because of us. He should never be dragged into our battles. This is my will, Tomura. As your master, and as his father.
Shigaraki: Fine. I'll do as you ask, Master. I'll protect him, even if it means staying away from him.
All For One nodded, a rare smile of approval crossing his lips.
All For One: Good. Remember, Tomura, this is not just about power or revenge. It's about family. And sometimes, protecting those we care about means keeping them away from the darkness we ourselves embrace..... you should know the best what the darkness means.
Shigaraki: I do....
The young LOV member nodded slowly, his mind still processing the turn of events. He walked out of the room, feeling a strange mix of duty and resentment. He would follow his master's orders, as he always had.
As the door closed behind him, All For One leaned back in his chair, his thoughts drifting to his son. He had made many sacrifices and choices in his life, but protecting Izuku and Inko from the life he himself had led.
All for One: I know very well... what a good villain he would be.... but he is better of being a hero, he knows this himself..... *sigh* too bad he is gonna be become a vigilante. At least we do not have to fight each other..... I am glad.....
A smile came on the fathers face as he thought about his sons future and he realized how much his son grew in the past couple of months. It was almost as if Izuku was a different person now than back then. He came far and All for One was certain that he could certainly expect quite a bit of chaos coming their way from here on out. After all the man had enemieres and it was just a question of time when they would find out about Izuku or the LOV.... they had to be ready by then.... they had to be strong to survive and get over the danger.... but the man had faith in Shigaraki as well as Izuku as he knew their character and he knew that they would do anything they set in their minds.
