Overhaul's POV:

I sat in the dimly lit room, Hari standing by the door, his usual unreadable expression fixed on me. My injuries were still fresh, the bandages tight around my torso, but my mind was already working, piecing together the events of the past few hours.

It was almost laughable, really—a quirkless kid, of all people, stumbling upon me when I was vulnerable. A random encounter, or at least, that's what it seemed at first. But now, I wasn't so sure.

Hari shifted slightly, his eyes narrowing as he studied me. He knew I was deep in thought, and he waited, patient as always.

Me: That kid...

I started, my voice low and gravelly.

Me: The one who helped me. He's from the general education course of UA....

Hari's eyebrow twitched, the closest thing to surprise I'd ever seen on his face.

Hari: A general education student?

His tone was even, but I could hear the curiosity beneath it.

And quirkless?

I nodded, my fingers drumming against the armrest of my chair.

Of all the people who could've found me, it had to be him.

It's like fate's got a twisted sense of humor.

Hari stepped forward, folding his arms as he considered my words.

Hari: So, what do you want to do with this information? He's just a kid.

Just a kid, ...

I repeated in my mind. But that was the thing—he wasn't just any kid. He was a quirkless one. A rarity in a world dominated by quirks, and one that I could use to my advantage.

Me: We dropped the lab because of him.

I leaned back, wincing slightly as the movement tugged at my wounds.

Me: We found a quirkless child, and that's worth more to me than anything else right now.

Hari's eyes narrowed further, understanding dawning in them.

Hari: You're thinking about using him, aren't you?

I smirked, the idea solidifying in my mind.

He's the key, Hari.

His DNA could hold the answers we've been searching for.

If we can figure out how to wipe out quirks permanently, we could reshape the world.

Hari didn't respond immediately, his gaze distant as he processed the implications. He knew as well as I did that the kid was an opportunity—a chance to test my theories, to push the boundaries of what we could achieve.

Hari: You really think he's the one?

Me: It's not about whether he's the one or not. It's about the potential. Quirkless individuals are rare, and if I can study him, understand him...

I trailed off, my mind already racing with the possibilities. We could create a weapon like no other.

Hari's expression didn't change, but I could see the wheels turning in his head. He was loyal, always had been, but this was something new, something risky.

Hari: How do you plan on getting him?

I chuckled softly, though it sent a sharp pain through my chest.

I don't have to get him. He'll come to us.

I leaned forward, locking eyes with Hari.

Me: The kid's already shown he's got a good heart, helping a complete stranger without hesitation. All we need to do is make him think he's making a difference. He'll walk right into our hands.

Hari nodded slowly, the plan starting to take shape in his mind as well.

Hari: And what about the heroes? They're not going to sit idly by while we move in on this kid.

Me: The heroes are predictable. They'll be busy cleaning up the mess we left behind. We'll be long gone by the time they realize what's happening.

I paused, considering the next step carefully.

Me: Besides, they won't suspect a quirkless kid of being involved in anything serious. He's invisible to them. That's his power.

Hari didn't say anything, just nodded in agreement. We both knew this was a gamble, but it was one worth taking.

Me: Keep an eye on him. Make sure he doesn't slip through our fingers.

I smirked, the pain in my chest a dull throb compared to the excitement buzzing in my veins.

Me: We're closer than ever, Hari. And when we're done, the world will finally understand what true power looks like.

Hari gave a sharp nod before turning to leave, his footsteps echoing in the hallway as he disappeared from view.

The kid had no idea what he'd just gotten himself into.

But that was fine.

He didn't need to know.

Not yet.

He will be enjoying his time here.... I will make sure that the doctor and everyone is treating him well.

He might be helping us but I will make sure that he will not be in any pain at all.

I will make his life the best life he could have.

One where everyone is just like him.

All that mattered was that I had a plan, and soon, the world would see the fruits of my labor. Whether that kid realized it or not, he was about to become the catalyst for a revolution.
