Chapter 23: The Death Of Berdly (2005-2023)

-SUNDAY, JANUARY 29TH, 2024.-
So a day has passed since the entire "encounter" I had with the gunslinger with Dave. Sure, he got a staff, but I still didn't feel right knowing I killed him, and I was slowly becoming a killer, I didn't like that so as I walked the streets on this cold Sunday morning at 11 AM, as although it was still snowing and cloudy as usual, as I had a grey cap over me with my usual orange jacket on, hood down, the temperatures were at least warming up to the 20s as we went into the month of February, and as I then passed by a car, I went up to Berdly who I saw hanging by the outside of the park, as he was on his phone by the sign, and I noticed Berdly was all alone. I asked Berdly what he was doing here by himself, since he usually was at least with friends or whatever, but he told me he was off work today since it was a weekend, and me who had no job said to Berdly:

Jack- "So you're by yourself? I have no job but wouldn't you at least be spending your day off with Kris and the others as usual? Going to the Dark World or whatever even though school is closed since they never lock the doors or really guard the school?"

Berdly- "Maybe..." he said putting his phone down, "But of course I prefer to be alone today, I just pocketed my phone so maybe we can spend time together, let's hike."

I was super confused, Berdly just said he wants to be alone and now he wants to hike with me, I'm so lost..... but I agreed anyways. We then went up the hill a bit as we made it to the picnic tables by the pond and then continued on as the temperature rose a degree but the snow increased a bit and it got harder to see, as we saw the hard to see waterfall in the distance as a blizzard was going down and the waterfall was still running surprisingly, water not having frozen despite the cold temps, but there it was freezing cold..... then, after that, Berdly turned around, and I warned him about going back.

Berdly- "Oh I know we should go back, but I only cornered you here to ask you something...."

I knew he was up to something, and Berdly said to me: "I know you're trying to get up close and personal with Noelle, I just want you to know that I don't believe an unintelligent person as you is worthy of her love, she clearly DESERVES ME more!!!!!!!"

Of course, after that I got angry, so I tried to keep my cool, but then after that, I just said to Berdly that we can work things out..... so I went out hugging him... I tried to calm him down, although it was random, he hugged back, and then, I took out two switchblade knives my sister used to own before I moved to HT, and stabbed Berdly in between his neck and shoulders TWICE, I then took the knives out, I was so angry I couldn't take it, I quickly pocketed the bloody knives, glad I could clean them off since I was wearing gloves, and I stomped on Berdly's face so hard, multiple times and then killed him with one final stomp on the head, hard and cruel, and then spit on him, as I quickly started walking away from his body after that, faster and faster as he turned into dust with his clothes staying there along with his broken glasses as usual, since all Monsters turn into dust when they die, and the dust blows in the wind, I flee the scene, there's virtually no evidence aside from Berdly's clothing that the police could use against me, other than this own clothes. For the third time, I killed a person again, I didn't know what happened, but it felt good, real GOOD =)
