Chapter 21: Actions Speak Louder Than Words

-FRIDAY JANUARY 27TH, 2023.-

So, you know, I expected a lot to be different now that lighteners and darkeners could live in each others worlds, but no, mainly the same except for a few darkener creatures roaming around Hometown every now and then, not much is different. Eitherway, after school today, at 6 PM, as I went out to take a brisk walk in the 18 degree snow, it already looking dark out as the sun had already mostly set and the lights dimmed, I saw Ralsei sitting outside next to my apartment steps, so I decided to approach him, wondering what he was doing here as I sat next to him.

Jack- "Ralsei, are you okay?"

Ralsei- "Jack, there's something I need to tell you......"

I gulped a bit, getting nervous, I thought Ralsei turned into Flowey.

Ralsei- "Listen, I've figured I'd just say it now, but I'm not Flowey anymore, but.... I might be.... but.... I'm trying to control it okay?!?!?!"

Jack- "Well Ralsei, actions speak louder than words."

Then, I walked after getting up, ending it right there. I wanted Ralsei to control it, but how could I fully trust him? Ralsei stood up and watched me leave, but I kept going in the snow, I had to, it was the only way I could shake this all off..... I had to...... I didn't know where to go, but I just kept walking as I went down the hill.....
