Chapter 60: Daniel Arrives, Again.

-TUESDAY, MARCH 7TH, 2023.-

So I was walking home from school today, as usual, and then Daniel walked up right next to me. I was surprised to see him walk up to me just as I headed up to the stop sign across the street from the road my apartment was on, but as we crossed the street and went up hill onto my block after he greeted me, him saying hello and all, he began talking to me about Dave's death, only standing about an inch taller than me.

Daniel- "So I know you and Dave were good friends, but like..... I just am surprised you never said anything about his death publicly yet- I mean do you even know what happened or-"

I then cut him off.

Jack- "Look Daniel, I don't know but my point is that I'm trying to put this past me, okay?"

Daniel- "Well I-"

Jack- "No Daniel, not right now man..... not right now......."

I said to him, trying to walk away as I got back into my house shutting the door and locking it to evade the situation as soon as I could.
