Chapter 55: Confused.

-THURSDAY, MARCH 2ND, 2023.-

Ok, what honestly was even going on at this point?!!?!?!?!?! Like seriously, you'd expect THE entire police force to be on my ass in the wake of the "events" that have been happening to all the kids at HT School recently, both the humans AND monsters, ESPECIALLY since now 3 kids have been killed, and not a SINGLE COP has knocked on my door yet or questioned me in the streets. Not even with FBI involved could they find out who's behind all of this, even after weeks of the school being under investigation but still somehow remaining open since it's the only school in the entire town for all kids K-12 to go there that live either there and in some cases up in Hometown North, because if IT WEREN'T for the school being open, all CHILDREN WOULD have to go to school in Hometown North, and we know how bad that would get with a majority human school greeting a majority "Monster" population. It's the only reason why the Hometown School exists in the first place for mainly monsters, but also some human students like myself. I'm glad the cops aren't looking for me, but I'm just surprised NOBODY is after me after all this, and not even that measly fellow human P.I who lives next door to me has knocked on my home yet either to "question" me, or simply just pay us a visit. Again, glad the cops haven't found me, real blessing, but I just find it so hard to believe that not even THE STATE PATROL can catch the alleged "killer" (me and John) in these cases????? Acting in self-defense or not, such as the Dave scenario, you'd think they'd still charge us either way, but no...... nothing, and apparently, all throughout HT people are now boarding up their windows and guarding their stores with guns, I literally saw Sans walking around with an M1911 Pistol on a holster in his "winter pants" yesterday, I asked him what it was for because I didn't expect an average guy like him who just owns the small town grocery store to have a pistol out of all things, but he apparently told me he bought it from a gun store earlier on that day in Hometown North, since there's only one up there and none in Hometown specifically after he got a concealed-carry permit 1 week prior. I guess it would be a full grown adult's normal reaction to such news, but I was just surprised in general, I was the most feared person in the entire town on a state-wide level, and no one knew who I was........
