the triwizard champions

"𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐎𝐎, 𝐋𝐈𝐀?" Cedric asked Ophelia as they walked down the corridor to the Great Hall on Thursday evening. Lyra and Neville were by her side, and Cedric's friends were right behind him.
"You know it," Ophelia answered coolly, winking at her little brother, who smiled excitedly for her as they entered the hall and approached the Goblet of Fire.
Cedric motioned for Ophelia to go ahead. "Ladies first."
Ophelia stepped confidently across the age line Dumbledore had set up to prevent underage students from putting their names in. She put it into the flames, her fellow Hufflepuffs clapping for her and wishing her good luck as she sat down.
The Weasley triplets ran into the Great Hall, each holding a small vial. The students cheered for them. A smirk twitched on Ophelia's lips knowing that whatever stunt they were about to pull to get their names in was going to end in disaster.
"Well, lads, we've done it," Fred said.
"Haddie cooked it up this morning," George added, grinning at his sister.
"That isn't gonna work, dingus," Ophelia stated.
"Oh, yeah?" Hadley grinned mischievously and sat down next to her girlfriend. "And why's that, Longbottom?"
"Because Weasley. You see that line right there?" Ophelia pointed to the glowing blue line surrounding the Goblet of Fire. "That's an Age Line. Dumbledore drew it himself."
"So?" George asked.
Ophelia scoffed, chuckling with a roll of her eyes. "So, a genius like Dumbledore couldn't possibly be fooled by a dodge as pathetically dimwitted as an aging potion."
"Ah, but that's why it's so brilliant, Elia." Hadley leaned her head onto her shoulder and grinned goofily up at her. "Because it's so pathetically dimwitted."
"Future Auror-in-training." Ophelia scoffed, shaking her head as Hadley winked at her before joining her brothers. "Well, this should be good," she said, standing up to join the crowd that had formed around the goblet.
"Ready, Fred?" George asked.
"Ready, George," Fred replied.
"Ready, Hadley?" they asked their triplet.
"Ready, boys." Hadley grinned.
"Bottoms up," the three said in unison before downing the potion in one gulp. They looped their arms and jumped through the line, the younger kids cheering for them. They smiled and put slips of parchment with their names on it into the flame, high fiving in celebration.
