𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐀𝐂𝐘 𝐒𝐈𝐗 𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐎 𝐇𝐎𝐆𝐒𝐌𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐄, instantly setting off an alarm. They ran to hide as the Death Eaters emerged in search of them.

Or rather, in search of Harry.

They stayed still as the men reached the area where they were hiding. The screeching alarm went off again, and they ran off, calling out Harry's name. When the coast was clear, the Legacies hurried out of their hiding place and into an alleyway.

The door to one of the homes opened, revealing an older man. "In here, Potter," he whispered, ushering the friends inside. Dakota stared at him for a moment, blinking in surprise before following behind Hermione.

"Did you get a look at him?" Ron asked as they descended the stairs. "For a second I thought it was—"

"Dumbledore." Dakota nodded. "It's kind of freaking me out."

Hermione took a look around the room. There was a portrait of a young brunette girl, but it was a mirror with a broken shard reflecting Harry that caught her eye. He wasn't even close to it. "Harry?" she called out to him. "I can see you in this."

Harry walked over to her, Dakota right behind him. He held up the broken shard he'd been looking in throughout the hunt, and sure enough, it belonged to this mirror.

"You bloody fools," the man growled. "What were you thinking coming here? Have you any idea how dangerous it is?"

"We're aware." Dakota crossed her arms. "We might be fools, but we're not stupid."

"You're Aberforth," Harry recognized. "Dumbledore's brother. It's you who I've been seeing in here. You're the one who sent Dobby."

"Where have you left him?" Aberforth asked.

"He's at a safe house," Lyra said.

"That's good. I like that elf."

"He's a sweetheart," Lyra agreed, nodding with a soft smile.

"Who gave that to you?" Harry asked, pointing behind him. "The mirror?"

"Mundungus Fletcher, about a year ago," Aberforth told him.

"Dung had no right selling that. It belongs to—"

"Sirius. Albus told me. He also told me you and Miss Black would likely be hacked off if you ever found out I had it, but ask yourself, where would you be if I didn't?"

"He's got a point, you know, Harry," Lyra said softly as Aberforth went to get them some food and drinks. "If he didn't have the mirror, he wouldn't have known to send Dobby when we were at Malfoy Manor."
