I sat across from them at the table. My mom kept giving eyes, telling me to not act bored. I tried.

"So, how's your vacation going so far?" He asked me.

"Fine." I mumbled.

My mom sighed. "And how's Dean?"

"Who's Dean?" He asked.

"He's gone." I pushed the food on my plate around.

"Gone?" My mom repeated.

"Yep." I nodded.

"What the hell?" She raised her voice. "He should be here!"

"For?" I asked.

She looked down at my stomach. "He doesn't know." I said to her.

"What?!"

"Can we go home now?" I ask.

"No." She puts her fork down. "Be right back." She leaves to the restroom, leaving me alone with Mark. She probably did that on purpose.

I quickly texted Aaron to pick to me up. And tried not to be awkward.

"This is intense." He wiped his chin.

"It's just bad timing." I sighed.

"I'm sorry." He apologized.

It's like my mom was trying to stay in the bathroom forever.

I shook my head. "It's okay."

"So you're pregnant?" He asked when he already knew the answer.

I raised my eyebrows. "That has nothing to do with you."

"I know." He says.

"Bye." I get up and walk out the door.

Aaron finally showed up a few minutes later. My mom came out and saw me getting into his car. She ran outside to stop me but she was already too late.

"Your mom is going to hate me." He chuckled.

"She doesn't know who you are, it's fine." I kiss his cheek.

"Hey, don't distract the driver." He smiles.

"Sorry, It's just all these hormones are making me want you. A lot." I laugh.

"Alex! When did you get so dirty?" He teases.

He pulls into my drive way. "Come lay with me?" I pull him into my house.

After an hour of cuddling, I pull out my phone. "It's time."

"For?" He asks.

"To call Dean." I finish.
