Tikki had been Marinette Dupain-Cheng’s Kwami for about 2 years now and she could honestly say that she was one of if not the best Miraculous holders that she ever had the pleasure of being partnered with. Marinette did have her faults like she could be impulsive and obsessive but her hearts was in the right place, she could recognise when she made mistakes and would always want to make up for them, always willing to want to help people and took being a superhero seriously.

However she had put a lot of pressure upon herself and overextended herself and Tikki hated to admit but she helped attribute to it. Putting pressure onto Marinette to focus on tasks and to take being Ladybug as seriously as she could. However the burdens that were unfairly pushed upon her: she having to take the role of Guardian at a moment’s notice, all the bullying that she had experienced thanks to Chloe and Lila, the universe always seeming want to embarrass her especially when it comes to trying to confess to Adrien and having to put in about twice the work due to Adrien’s attitude when he was Chat Noir.

It annoyed her having to keep quiet that Adrien was Chat Noir but over time it began dawning on her about Adrien’s behaviour when he was Chat Noir. Always want to joke about, not taking Akuma battles seriously, always flirting at inappropriate times to Ladybug, allowing himself to be caught in the Akuma’s thrall due to not taking it seriously enough, not wanting to take no for an answer and seemed to be too willing to throw a childish tantrum when Ladybug had to hide something from him.

He wanted to be trusted with the information when to be franc, he didn’t behave like someone who should be trusted with the information.

It was clear to Tikki that Adrien was far from the romanticised perfect kind golden boy that Marinette had off him in her head. Tikki was sort of glad that things weren’t working out with Marinette pursuing Adrien because it would not be good for Marinette in the slightest.

Marinette would never truly be happy with Adrien.

Marinette was so much happier in that time when she was dating Luka and it was an unfair shame that they were forced to call it off thanks to Marinette having to bail on their dates and unable to be honest with him about Ladybug. More things she was blaming herself for such as losing the Miraculous Box and Master Fu.

Tikki knew there was only two people that deserved blame for that: Hawk Moth and Chloe Bourgeois.

To Tikki it was clear that her siding with Hawk Moth was not at all Ladybug pushing her away but in truth Chloe showing her true colour in that when push comes to shove she will always be a selfish entitled ungrateful brat who will put her own interests above the welfare and safety of others.

Ladybug having to retire her as Queen Bee when it was her own fault that she was the one who openly revealed her identity on live TV. She was lucky that she got chances after that stunt, Marinette was too forgiven after she was unapologetic about almost having a train full of people crashed and everyone inside including Marinette’s parents killed. She deserved a slapped on the face after she was Deakumatized with the Miraculous forced from her after that.

Sure she had a corrupt father who spoiled her, her mother treats her with contempt and a school system including a teacher that coddles her but it could only excuse so much. Even after becoming Queen Bee, she never stopped being a bully who took delight in hurting others.

In truth she was like the villain of this movie that Marinette showed her called the Incredibles; Syndrome was a wannabe superhero angry at his former idol for pushing him away when in reality the circumstances were entirely his fault and wanted to play hero by putting innocent people at risk.

There was also another Lila who took delight in her attempts to turn her friends against her and had gotten her temporarily expelled thanks to the ineptitude of the Francois Dupont school.
