Let's take a moment to get back to the Alya of this new reality before the Alya that made the wish woke up to the reality.

For about 2 years now Alya had been working as Hawk Moth and much to her frustration and that of her partner in crime and only ‘friend’ Adrien; they had been no closer to getting the Ladybug and Cat Miraculous than when they had started. Even when it seemed like they were close to victory; Scarlet Bug and Black Feline would pull out a victory. If they could just retrieve one of the Miraculous that the temporary heroes uses like the one used by the Illusion Fox then Alya could be satisfied with that but they can't even get one of them.
Adrien was especially growing impatient but they were doing the best that they could do. Alya for Akumas wanted to use those who she felt really had been wronged and hated it when she had to resort to someone less savoury. Adrien was happy to use anyone and it unnerved him when he took vindictive pleasure on using one of their classmates or someone that targeted.
Alya was at the zoo near the beginning of her operations at Hawk Moth where two of her classmates got on her dad’s bad side when they insulted a panther at the zoo. He was upset enough to be Akumatized as she could feel the Brooch but shook her head, she was drawing the line at using her family like that. Plus it’s not like she would be helping him enact righteous justice, he was being upset about claims that his panther wasn’t as fast as he claimed.
Not like people got hurt permanently as any damage was fixed by the Miraculous Ladybug Wave which Alya found amazing and couldn’t wait to try it out. Not that the Parisian government and public thought about there was no lasting damage as Hawk Moth was seen as the feared supervillain who was endangering Paris.
When she had her new Miraculous, she should see about making a public statement as her new alter ego saying that Hawk Moth was defeated for good.
She kept her head down in her public activities and her parents were pleased that she seemed to be behaving herself but did wish she could see about making more friends, they didn’t speak to her about it but they were not very fond of Adrien not that she could blame them off course.
Paris’ darling model boy turned a bitter cynic who lost his position working for his family’s company and was upset at the possibility that his family could have the company taken from them permanently before his parents were revived, so it helped with his desperation to get the two Miraculous to make the wish.
It came to the embarrassment when an intended Akuma subject calmed down enough and so the butterfly went to a crying baby denied a lollipop. Alya was shocked and was about to go through with it before stopping herself. What was she doing? This was an infant child without full understanding of what she was about to do?
This was another line that she can’t cross.
One night she was left to babysit her twin siblings Etta and Ella all alone as usual (calls to Adrien asking for help would just end up being hung up afterwards), they were especially being disobedient that night blaming their antics on the Sapotis. She finally had to put her foot down and ground them to their room.
She saw the Brooch fuelling with energy obviously sensing their anger at the punishment, she was about to grab it to transform when she stopped herself.
