AN: Yoko on the media. Just imagine that she was wearing pj's there. That's the closest pic I could ever find to embody the image in my mind.
"Mommy, I'm hungry."
"Mommy, I'm dizzy."
"Mommy, my arms are getting numb."
"Water, please."
"I want hugs, I'm cold."
"Kisses?"
Those were just a few of my requests to Faye as we waited for our flight to board. Our companion has their own world and here I was, wanting to be babied by my girlfriend. Faye never showed any sign of annoyance. She granted all my requests with a wide smile plastered on her face, each usually followed by a kiss.
"We're still in public, baby. I'll give you as many kisses as you want on the plane. Is that okay?" she asked in her cute baby voice. I nodded eagerly, loving our little ritual of baby-talking when it was just the two of us.
We were that comfortable with each other. I didn't care what others thought if they overheard us. I don't want to sound rude to anyone, but...
This was our life, our choice.
As long as we weren't hurting anyone, there was nothing wrong with it.
Faye hugged me from the side as I leaned my head on her shoulder feeling the comfort that she was giving me. I was getting sleepy as time passed by.
We were heading to the Philippines for our first international show, and I couldn't help but feel nervous, overthinking about everything that might happen.
"Good morning, passengers. This is the pre-boarding announcement for flight 27B to the Philippines. We are now inviting those passengers with small children and any passengers requiring special assistance to begin boarding at this time. Please have your boarding pass and identification ready. Regular boarding will begin in approximately ten minutes. Thank you." Faye lightly tapped my arm after hearing the announcement.
I gathered my things and checked our luggage to ensure we didn't leave anything behind. Once everything was in order, we proceeded to the immigration checkpoint. After our passports and luggage were checked, we made our way to the plane, hand in hand. I tried to stay low-key to avoid media attention.
I'm not ashamed of my relationship with Faye, but some of the board of directors wanted us to stay discreet to maintain public interest. They weren't against our relationship, just cautious about the public's reaction. We didn't mind as long as we could be ourselves in private.
Faye carried my pillows and bags, guiding me inside. She never wanted me to carry anything. A flight attendant directed us to our first-class seats. As soon as I sank into the soft mattress, my muscles relaxed.
I settled in, feeling someone remove the barrier between our seats and fasten my seatbelt. I didn't bother to check who it was, as there was only one person who would do that.
"Sleep tight, my love," Faye whispered, kissing my temple. I turned, pouting for a kiss, which she gave me sweetly. Satisfied, I drifted to sleep.
~~~~~
I woke to a light kisses on my head. "Babe, wake up. You should eat your dinner first," Faye said gently.
I opened my eyes slowly, yawning and rubbing them. "How long did I sleep?"
"About five hours, almost. Did you have a good rest?" I nodded in response as I watch her do her thing. She prepared our food, surprising me by feeding me a spoonful.
We fed each other, talking about random things again. "Are you nervous about our show?" she asked.
"You know I'm always nervous in front of crowds," I admitted.
