Faye's POV

"Wow, best couple of the year! I’m so proud of you guys!” P'Wanwan exclaimed, her voice filled with the warmth of a proud mother. Without hesitation, she enveloped us both in a tight embrace, tears streaming down her cheeks as though she were a child lost in the moment. P'Eye and Denise, our ever-dramatic queens, joined in her emotional display, their faces wet with joy. I couldn't help but laugh internally at their theatrics. Dramatic queens, indeed.

“It feels like I’m watching my babies grow,” P'Eye said with a wistful smile, wiping away her tears.

We stood in the middle of our company’s dance studio, where we were supposed to be rehearsing for my upcoming birthday show in Thailand. But, of course, our dramatic CEO had other plans, continuing her outpouring of love and excitement. She’d been this way for days now, unable to contain her emotions. It was sweet, but also hilarious how much she couldn’t let go.

“What’s wrong with you guys? Denise’s disease is spreading lately, huh?” I teased, laughing as I referred to Denise’s tendency for overly exaggerated reactions.

Denise, sulking in the corner, shot me a playful glare. “Hey, it’s not my fault! They’re just born like that,” she muttered defensively, though her lips twitched into a smile.

I shook my head, grinning, before clapping my hands to refocus the room. “Let’s get back to rehearsal, everyone.”

As I moved to my position, the weight of the upcoming performance settled on my shoulders. There was so much riding on this show. For two months, we’d been pouring our energy into preparing, and now, as the date approached, I couldn’t shake my nerves. I wanted everything to be perfect for my fans—the people who had stood by me throughout my entire journey as an artist. This performance was my way of thanking them, of showing them just how much they meant to me.

Singing, dancing, even a bit of magic—I had a lot planned. I’d pushed myself to take on new challenges, determined to give them an unforgettable experience.

“Gorgeous!"

"Now, for this part, you’re going to dance downward while holding Yoko’s shoulder, okay?” Our dance trainer’s voice snapped me out of my thoughts. I nodded, focusing on the steps as he demonstrated.

And yes, Yoko was here too. She would be joining me for a surprise performance, and the thought of dancing with her had me buzzing with excitement. It had been a while since I’d danced this intensely, but sharing the stage with her made it all the more thrilling.

I turned to her, my expression softening. “Just don’t tire yourself too much, okay? You just got better,” I reminded her gently, pulling her closer. She smiled up at me, that sweet, playful grin that always made me want to pinch her cheeks.

Practice resumed, and we moved through the choreography with focus and precision, making sure to perfect every detail. I could feel the sweat trickling down my neck, but I kept pushing, determined to get it just right.

“Alright, thirty-minute break, everyone!” our dance coach finally called out, and I breathed a sigh of relief, grateful for the chance to rest.

I glanced over at Yoko, noticing how she, too, was panting. Quickly, I grabbed my tumbler and made my way over to her. She smiled up at me, her cheeks flushed from exertion, as I handed her the water. I couldn’t help but feel a surge of affection for her as we shared this moment of quiet before diving back into the whirlwind of preparation.

Yoko immediately gulped down the water, her breath still labored from the intense rehearsal. As I noticed the sweat glistening on her temple, I reached into my bag for a towel. Without a word, I gently wiped her forehead, then moved to her back, dabbing at the dampness there.
