After the mall show we attended for the moisturizer endorsement, we had another project lined up—a collaboration with a Chinese brand, and a livestream scheduled for later.
I still remember every detail from that day. Teasing Faye was one of my favorite things, especially when we were in front of our fans. There was something so delightful about watching her get flustered and excited every time I made a bold move.
Flashback
"Can I be your fan?" one fan asked, using the playful double meaning of asking if she could be Faye's girlfriend. I couldn't help but grin as I saw Faye's face light up with a teasing smirk.
"No need, because she already has..." I said, pointing at the fan with a mischievous glint in my eye. The moment the words left my mouth, I saw Faye's eyes widen in panic, probably thinking I was about to reveal something personal.
My teasing earned exactly the reaction I was hoping for—a mix of laughter from the crowd and that endearing franticness from Faye.
"You always know how to make me frantic, hmm," she whispered, her words making me giggle again.
We moved on to other segments the organizers had prepared for us. We played various games, including rock, paper, scissors. Naturally, I couldn’t resist turning scissors into a finger heart, which sent Faye into another bout of flustered smiles.
As the show went on, I noticed Faye’s eyes narrowing at my skirt. It was clear she wasn’t pleased with what I was wearing. She always had something to say about my stylist’s choices, especially when it came to the length of my skirts. No matter how many times we reassured her that I was wearing cycling shorts underneath, she couldn’t help but worry.
She always said she didn’t like seeing me in such revealing clothes, but she never forced her preferences on me. Faye was always respectful of my decisions, no matter how much my short skirts might give her headaches. She was considerate, willing to adjust and accept my fashion choices even when they made her worry.
"Baby, don't move around so much," she whispered softly during the show, earning a teasing giggle from me.
I behaved for a bit, but when I struck another pose on the monoblock chair, she couldn’t help herself. She reached out and tugged at my skirt, causing me to stumble slightly.
If Faye was stressed about my skirt, as I was just as stressed about her top! For heaven’s sake, she had three buttons undone, and it seemed like everyone could almost see her... well, everything.
I tried to keep my cool, but I couldn’t help myself. I quickly reached out and poked at her shirt, trying to fix it as discreetly as possible, but even that earned a reaction from the crowd.
'Oh, if only you knew,' I thought to myself, 'I go much further than that.'
As the show neared its end, the staff handed us bouquets of roses, but mine was slightly dripping with water. Faye noticed immediately and without a second thought, swapped hers with mine.
'See that, everyone? That’s how much she cares,' I wanted to shout to the world, but I had to keep it to myself. We had promised to keep things low-profile, and while that wasn’t my main concern, I respected our agreement.
But still, moments like that made it hard not to want to tell the world how green flag my love truly was.
As long as we're enjoying what we have and are happy together, that's more than enough for me.
End of flashback"Are you ready for later, baby?" Faye’s voice pulled me out of my thoughts. She had approached me from behind, her presence grounding me as always.
We were getting ready for the livestream, and I had been spacing out again, lost in my thoughts.
