"Baby!" I squealed, bouncing toward her with excitement. She laughed, catching me as I wrapped her in a tight hug, both of us giggling like schoolkids. "I missed you so much!"
"I missed you too," she murmured, pressing a soft kiss to my temple. Today was the first day she was allowed out again, following tradition. It had only been a few days apart, but it felt like an eternity. I couldn't help but cling to her; the longing I'd felt was overwhelming.
"Alright, lovebirds, that's enough. Show some respect for us lonely souls," P'Wan teased, rolling her eyes playfully. We all laughed, the mood light and full of warmth.
We were at P'Wan's condo, getting ready to film our reaction video for episode 4 of our series. After a bit of setup, we snapped some photos for Instagram, then finally got down to business.
As we started filming, I instinctively leaned into Faye, seeking the comfort I’d missed during our short time apart. I tried focusing on the screen in front of me, but my attention kept drifting. My eyes wandered over to her, unable to resist the pull of her presence.
"What are you looking at?" Faye asked, noticing me staring.
I didn't answer right away, too busy admiring the delicate features of her face. She was breathtaking, a goddess, really.
"You're so pretty," I whispered, almost to myself.
She gave me a warning look, her tone half-serious. "Yo~" she said, pinching my leg in retaliation.
But I wasn’t done teasing. Still in a playful mood, I leaned into her ear and mimicked the scene playing on the screen, whispering seductively, "My dear," just like the characters. I grinned as I saw the blush creep onto her cheeks, my little victory in full view.
"Are you even watching?" P'Wan asked, switching into her serious, CEO-like tone.
"Of course, Mami," I replied innocently, turning my attention back to the screen, though the mischief was far from over.
I couldn’t help but let my attention wander as we filmed our reaction video. P’Wan kept trying to keep us on track, throwing out half-serious scoldings and playful jabs, which only made me want to tease her more.
"Everyone probably knows by now that we’re not exactly focused on reacting here, and P’Wan’s been scolding us, she's stressed because of us HAHAHA" Faye laughed, hugging my waist, her eyes sparkling with amusement.
"Exactly," P’Wan chimed in, chuckling along with our photographer. P’Wan had always been the coolest boss, so Faye and I never missed a chance to mess with her whenever we could.
"The fans don’t mind though," I added, grinning. "The 'blankets' say they’d watch us even if we were just sleeping!" I couldn’t help but laugh. That’s one of the things I loved about our fans—they were so understanding and supportive, no matter how silly we got. It made everything so much more fun.
“I’ll sleep now, Mami,” I joked, pretending to doze off, which sent Faye into a fit of laughter, joined by everyone else in the room.
As the recording went on, my playful side took over. I couldn’t resist sneaking glances at Faye and giving playful side comments, my heart warming at how attentive she was, especially when it came to my dress. She was always so protective, always making sure I was comfortable.
“Mommy, I’m sleepy,” I whispered in Faye’s ear, making her glance at me with concern.
“The video’s almost over. You can sleep soon. Come here,” she said softly, rubbing my head in that soothing way of hers that only made me even sleepier. I whined, my eyelids getting heavier by the second.
