Part 27: One Last Time (+18)

The young male enters his house as he closes the door pressing his back to it as he slides to the ground. He looks up a bit closing his eyes. A lot had happened, and a lot was yet to come. He felt drained. Thoughts swirled into his mind wondering if he was taking the right approach. He could die. He had relied so much on the watch and his girls. He felt almost as if he himself had done nothing.

He would open his eyes seeing Claire and Ember standing before him. The soft glow from his Pyronite lover filling the entry way. He smiled gently at them. They didn't speak as they knelt down to hug him. Their warmth filled him as he held them close.

"Thanks girls, I needed this." He said gently as he was helped to his feet. He was moved to the couch as he could now see all the girls he had ever summoned surrounding him. He sat as they moved to get comfortable. He held his hands together as he sighed out to speak.

"Lately... I feel as if I'm not doing enough... Almost as if I've been relying on you girls to solve my problems... I can't help but feel wholly inadequate... Ben uses his watch and puts his body on the line. Gwen uses her abilities to protect others more than she protects herself. Even Kevin, that dumbass, absorbs materials into his body to fight whats in his way. And me? I just feel like I hit a panic button and all my issues are solved by you girls..."

The girls listened to his words, it made sense, he may have fought before. But it was using their powers. It was never truly his own abilities. They understood. Before any could speak a voice called from the stairs. He looked over seeing Albeda. "And what's wrong with that?"

"Albeda?"

"Look, I'm not good with all this mushy stuff. But it's clear to me that asking for help requires more strength than trying to do things on your own. You may not see it but the reason these girls will risk their lives for you is because you're worth it. You're more than a breeding tool. You're more than a host. You're Y/N L/N. Commander of Aliens. They- We follow because we love you." Her words filled the room as she sighed and stood up before planting herself next to him gently leaning against him.

"I honestly thought, when I first met you, that what you had was a fluke. An absolute anomaly. Something that happened by chance. Now I look at you and I know deep down that it wasn't just some coin flip. There was no roll of the dice. This watch was made for you. And in time you'll understand your own strength. And I can't wait to see what you become when you do." She spoke gently closing her eyes resting her head on his shoulder.

He smiled gently hearing her words. He still had his doubts, but seeing all the girls agreeing with Albeda filled him with some confidence. 

"Things will change soon. I'm afraid I may be putting you all in danger... Are you alright with following me out tomorrow? Fighting for my planet?" He asked as Tatiana was the first to speak.

"This is our home too. We will fight tooth and nail for it." The next to speak was Diana. "This planet means a lot to you. I will fight. Till the last crystal if I have to." The rest of the girl started to agree in their own way. He smiled and looked at them with a smile.

"Thank you, I really do mean that. You girls mean the world to me." He said as they all pulled him into a large hug cooing at how adorable he was being as he was practically tossed around and cuddled. 

After that they all merged back into the watch, save for a certain three. Artemis, Reina and Albeda. He looked to them as Artemis stepped forward removing her helmet revealing her face. "I told you didn't I? You will have no plans for tonight~" She whispered as Reina moved in close practically having to lay down to fit in his house.

"I wish to thank you for saving me, I wish to show you my gratitude in the most intimate way I can." She said as Albeda would move forward a bit more nervous than the other two.
