Part 28: All I Have

"We can't come?" Hope asked as Y/N threw a shirt on, it was deep into the night now, the siege on the Highbreed machine was already underway. Y/N and his team stood outside his house as Hope and Albeda stood in the doorway a worried look on their faces. They wanted to help, but he had been rather firm with them.

"I'm sorry but no is no. I can't risk you two getting hurt." He said cupping their cheeks as he kissed their foreheads. "I promise everything will be alright. I'll be back before breakfast." He said with a smile as the two looked at each other and pulled him into a hug tightly. His arms moved down and hugged them back. Most of the other aliens had been taken into protective custody in order to keep them safe if earth suddenly took a turn. Azzy stood on Hope's shoulders as the ships dropped in the back garden.

"I'll take them far away from the system and bring them back when the fight is over." One of the Members of the council spoke as Y/N nodded. He kissed his girls once more before they were led onto the ships flying off. He watched the ship fly off praying it wouldn't be the last time seeing them.

He turned and left out his house seeing his team waiting for him. Jake, Max, Danny, Buttercup, Bubbles and Blossom along with Randy, Rex and Ryuko. His team smiled at him as they looked towards the road. They looked to their leader all ready to get started. Y/N's back opened up as bug wings sprouted from his back as he started to hover. The rest smirked ready to go.

"We off to save the world?" Rex asked as Y/N smirked.

"Eh why not, sounds like fun." He said as they all could only grin as they started off towards where Ben and his crew were currently engaged in battle.

Arriving the group would find the old base overrun with DNAliens. The base was swarmed and so were the group trying to fight off the Aliens.

"Split off into teams! We need to assist in pushing them back. Follow their lead, they've been fighting these aliens for longer than we have!" Y/N spoke as they all nodded. Those who couldn't fly took his car into battle to get close.

"What's our chances of winning this?" Y/N asked Professor Paradox noticing him first as the man looked back and checked his watch. "We can leave it up to anything around the possibility of a coin flip."

Ben looked up seeing reinforcements arrive. "I thought you got cold feet?" He asked as Y/N shook his head slamming his fist into an alien sending it flying.

"And miss this shit show? Never!" He said as he looked towards the giant arch. His eyes burned looking at it. Flashes cover his vision making him wince. A voice fills his head, one he isn't familiar with...

"I see you~"

He saw how the great machine was powering up. Concern covered his face as he turned to Ben. "Hey I'm no expert on alien machinery but that doesn't look good." He said as Ben looked on seeing the teleportation gate slowly start up. "Shit, we need to stop it now!"

The group would make their way quickly to the leg of the gate. "Everyone! We need to hit it all at once! Ready? Now!" Ben spoke as Y/N summoned Ember and used as much flame as possible to destroy the teleporter. However it didn't even leave a scratch.

"Seriously? What is this shit made of Adamanteum!?" Y/N asked as Ben scrolled through his aliens. "Might as well give this one a shot!" He said as the boy slammed his hand on the watch as a hulking creature stood before the group.

"WAY BIG!"

Y/N looked up in awe however the voice returned to him stronger than before.

"Don't resist brother~ Your time has come~"
