Ivy's heart began to beat faster than usual, she had already started crying in her mind. She really didn't want to lose her voice. She started to think of what to do but her mind was completely blank. He was wearing a blue suit, white shirt and blue trouser with a black shoe that was definitely expensive.
She didn't know what to do so she went to his office and she walked beside him and stood. Darien turn his chair to her and was facing opposite her, he was looking at her and he was very confused, he only asked a simple question.
She got to her kneels and started begging with folded hands and her head touching his leg. She tried her best and forced tears to pour out.
"Please sir don't fire me. How will I leave? I've been jobless for a very long time now and I finally found a job and I really don't want to lose it now." Ivy kept talking without even thinking and she was still in the same position. "I didn't know then that you were my boss, I'm really sorry, I only wanted to get the stain off my clothes but I couldn't find a bathroom so I used yours."
Darien couldn't even grab what she was saying, he was getting more confused and she just kept on talking without stopping. He folded his hands and placed it on his stomach. He exhaled deeply.
"Get your body off my leg first then we can talk about this madness of yours." He seemed calm and not angry.
She slowly turned her face to him and his face looked expressionless but he seemed to look more handsome than the last time. Ivy was very certain that he was specially made from others. She got up slowly and felt embarrassed, she cleaned her face and checked her face in the mirror on his table whether her makeup was ruined.
He saw her look in the mirror and he scoffed and chuckled a little in disbelieve. Did she just check herself while I'm here?
Ivy saw her face was beautiful like it always is. She faced him and gave an apologetic look.
"I really have no time for your nonsense," he said and sounded very serious, "you have a lot to do as my secretary so we don't have time for your nonsense. Like the chairperson always say time waste is money waste."
Ivy was getting more confused as he kept talking. The chairperson was his father so why couldn't have said father. She just ignored that and she was happy to know he wasn't ready to fire her.
"Thank you sir, I'll surely pay in return for your kindness." She smiled at him which made is heart warm.
"Next time knock before you enter." She nodded her head and smiled even more making the corner of his lips move.
He passed the schedule paper to her and he explained to her everything that would be needed to be done. She nodded and was looking around to find her office.
He stared at her and sighed. "So stupid." He thought.
"Your office is there." He used his left hand to point to the direction of her office.
She smiled and walked away. He felt relieved after seeing her smile. He must agree she is the prettiest girl he has seen.
Ivy walked to the direction he pointed and the door was glass window, they could see themselves even if she was in her office. She packed all the files he gave her and she started selecting them and started printing this week schedule.
Time passed by and it was her lunch break, finally she could talk to Emily and take her site of this man that was very unpredictable. Before she goes for her break she needed to give him the print out form.
She got up from her chair and opened the door. She walked towards him and stood opposite him. She stretched her hands with the file in her hands. He was busy filling out some documents so he probably didn't notice her existence.
